I'm an ignorant 'newbie' and I'd like to be enlightened. How does one become an administrator? Are they voted in, if so what is the election process?

 

Just have another member start a thread asking you be made an administrator, then pay a whole bunch of members to support you. You'll be the admin of your own forum in no time.

 

I demand a RECOUNT. I think I accidently voted for just Mara when I should have voted in the BOTH secrtion.

Its not my fault, The ballot was confusing. The arrow did not go all the way to the dot. It stopped one full millimeter before it.

I say we recount the votes until it is a tie and they can both be admins.

Actually, you can't be voted in as admin, barns. These guys are just joking around. New admins are selected by the current council of admins, by invite only. You don't need a campaign thread, and as a matter of fact, you're not really encouraged to start one. If a user deserves to be adminned, they will be noticed regardless.

 

Except Mara who was noticed via campaign thread....
