im not sure what i want to do for the bottom half of the hilt and the pommel. and i didnt want to spend the time modling the orings that go in that angled secion between the hilt and the emitter. any suggestions? oh and what color blade! EL blade probably red, lime, aqua or white if i can get it. what do you think would match with the hilt.

Nice start there! I'd go with Red for the blade.

wooo got my aluminum today. went with the aqua blade. found out i dont have the right knurling knobs to do that so it will be diffrent up top and i did the bottom half, no pommel design yet but im planning on haveing some brass inlayed in an alluminum plug. well back to thinking.

really arnt to many machinists here are there...

well mine progresses, emitter is all machined, just needs to be filed/sanded and polished. it looks totally awesome. started on the main piece of the hilt today, except for little tiny mistakes no one will ever notice except me, its sweet. i finaly came up with a pommel design. acually im gonna go start that right now. ill get pics eventually.

    anywhere from 300-???

???= a good one can get into the 50,000's only because it is big and a cnc...
but if your looking at lightsabers, all you need is a 7x12 which will run you from 200(if used)-800...

miev4, you also used a mill, correct?
