    Nope, I never lived there so far, but we have/had some members who live close to it. Maybe they come out of their lurking mode now. ;)

    I lived near Mainz for a while. I worked there for a little over a year.
    I'm not that big of a fan of the city, though. ;)

    I'm living in Kassel 200 kms away from Mainz, one day some friends from Frankfurt took me to Mainz for Carneval. It was one of the most craziest things I ever saw. :p

    And I live in the Netherlands since two years. But originally I am from County Lower Saxony. I never have been to Mainz before.

    Yeah, Carneval is crazy in Mainz. Last time I went was 2007- awesome!!
