Making a dummy head?

    I'm working on a Zabrek makeup job, thanks to the tips I learned here. However, I need a dummy head to build the thing around. Making a cast of my head is not an option at this point, due to lack of suitable supplies and also lack of anyone able to help.

    I've got a foam wig head, but its diameter is about 2" less than my own head. It's 21 inches, I am 23. Can I add some size to its upper areas without destroying its shape? If so, what would be the best way to do this?

    A styrofoam head is the core of my clay sculpting dummy which I use for masks and puppets. If you are going to use clay, for God's sake DON"T go get the four colour crap. Get gray Klean Klay from Dick Blick. It's about the same price. The UPC # is 33211250101.
