Woo Hoo! Hey, we're doing the same thing. I will have another post up in regards to some choreography. They loved us last time around, and we even have some future prospects for kids nights if you guys want to change it up. I'll get details and bring them to the meeting.

I'll bring coloring pages and crayons again.

I assume that someone will be bringing the equipment to take and print pictures for folks?

Any ideas for a tip jar?

And the big issue. Business Cards. I have quotes on professional imprinted cards for the group to pass out. Let's put it this way, I'll be putting in $20 for me. However many you want, you can buy up....

$20 - 100 cards

$30 - 250 cards

$50 - 500 cards

The cards will have basic info on them, the website and a few contact numbers with the logo and such.

I will go ahead and get them ordered today or tomorrow so they are done in time for the troop.

How bout I just buy a 500 or 1000 batch and we can divide the funds and cards evenly to those who contribute??? Unless you just really like the boxes they come for storing them it's a better deal.

Tip jar is easy. Just take a 1/2 gallon jug, cut off the very top and replace with coin slot insert from cheap coin bank at dollar store. Then, take and print the logo and wrap around jug. Ta-da, donation jug! With Handle!!

Just tought of something, Is mamu fu's ok with the donation thing.... just a thought. We can always say is for supplies for kids and stuff like that, but we must clear them through the store..

Cant we just place a thing around the jar explaining that it is donations for Ronald McDonald House??? That would also sound a little more professional...not just "tip jar". People are more apt. to give if they know exactly what their money is going for. But, yes def. run it by them first.

By the way....Chase/trice...do you have my leg flares that Gary did for me??? Can you bring them to the house on the 29th?

I was thinking something like maybe some type of helmet (if anyone has the halloween vader bucket that would work great), and put a note on it somehow, for the tip jar...

The tip jar will be fine. David has no problem with it. As long, of course, as we are not begging and pleading his customers for tips...

 

I would love to see the explaination on the jug for what we're gonna use the donations for.
"First Coast Jedi Knights. Please insert tip!! Note: This donation will be used to raise profits for items to be purchased for a Ronald MacDonald House event. Examples include: Crayons, Coloring Books, Stickers, and ect. Please remember that this is profits to be given from one non-profit organizatio to another non-profit organization. Thank you!"

That really seems kinda long, don't it. I like my version better:

"Give money or the clone trooper harms the teddy bear."
