... and if I copied 2ndQuest's topic name? So sue me!

    :p j/k, j/k...

Anyway, in this thread, submit cards based on the Expanded Universe, or some not seen in the films (though not AotC, that's left to 2ndQuest and R'bolt), in text form. Another BIG (BIG, get the point) help would be to supply pictures (high q, colored, detailed, whole backround, or no backround at all, preferably) for the cards. You can see my EU and Attack of the Clones cards here.

I will continue to update those pages fairley regularly. One new thing I made up is enhanced Podracing. The Podracers basically work the same, except that they're VEHICLES, with a power of 1 or 2 (Sebulba's, maybe 3), and a maneuver of 6 (Anakin's, probably 7). Anyway, each turn, draw 2 destiny for each pod. If lowest destiny > maneuver, pod 'damaged'. And so on. But it's cool, really. And DS doesn't get all the Pods. They basically follow the LS/DS assignment in Young Jedi.

Another thing changed is Underwater sites. There are now 3 types of 'Water' sites: Interior Underwater (character must have underwater icon to get there, and must be between Underwater sites if possible), Exterior Underwater (self-explanatory- charactor power = 1, defense value -3), and Above Water (no effect, but used for things like the Amphibian and Bongos. Vehicles w/ armor may not move there, as well as Ferocity < 2 creatures, unless it says so on the card). An underwater icon is on such characters as Mon Calamari, Quarren, and Nautolan. Also, some devices (like the A99 Aquata Breather) give non-underwater icon characters underwater icons. Also, creatures may not move to exterior underwater sites unless they have an underwater icon.

So that's all I have for now. Remember, pictures are much appreciated. Enjoy! ;)

[edit] Oops, almost forgot Vong rules:

Yuuzhan Vong come from another galaxy. They cannot be felt in the Force. For that, they do not have ability. Instead, they have armor. But they do have a Vong Presence Icon, giving them Presence at a site they deploy to. While a Vong's deploy is relatively low, their forfeit is even lower. This is to balance them out (as they are extremely powerful), and to acknowledge the fact that they give no thought to killing their subordinates. Other special Vong rules include the fact that all characters 'hit' by a Vong are forfeit -1. Vong can only use certain weapons. This is acknowleged on certain weapon cards that say 'Vong Weapon'. Yuuzhan Vong cannot use any other type of weapon, as they consider them an abomination. Also, Vong can only pilot starships that are titled 'Vong Ship: xxxx', or 'Vong Vehicle'. That's about it for the Vong. Enjoy 'em! ;)

Sounds good, Mamow! When I get home I'll look up a couple cards I've made and post 'em. Just don't tell Spam (from Decipher's dream card board), he might cry. ;)

lol, I know what you mean (I run the AotC contest there, which give out 'prizes' [graphic DCs] of the winning card of that contest).

    "Graphic Dream Cards are illegal!"

Man, they're just giving these project thread titles away, aren't they?[face_batting]

Wow- so I guess all the new republic needed was Jar Jar to wipe out the Vong, huh? [face_batting]

Seriously though, he'd tear them apart in the game.

Also, the word "Vong" by itself is an insult to the true gods, you infidel! [face_batting]

Perhaps instead of "Vong Weapon" or "Vong Starship", you could create new designations "Creature Weapon" or "Creature Starship". Add in an icon that identifies it as Yuuzhan Vong technology.

    [image=http://www.denimfilms.com/icons/TsavongLah.gif]

I have a larger version of this icon thatmight make a good card image for a Tsavong Lah card.

Here are some EU cards I've done in the past (they're rough ideas though and don't have proper text or font choices, but feel free to use any of them or do what you wish):

Cool cards, Quest! I'm definately using the X-wing pic for something, as well as the LS Luke pic. Maybe even the Mara/Luke pic.

    >>I'm definately using the X-wing pic for something<<

I have a couple others if you want them- I got them off of someones custom model site of their interpretation of the XJ X-wing. I just altered the brightness and such to make it look less model-like, and added the space background.

Added Master Skywalker to the Expanded Universe section. Remember, text ideas are welcome. So are pictures.

[edit]: The next cards will be Tatooine Landspeeder and Bongo. Here are some names of future cards:

    LS:

    Enhanced N-1 Starfighter
    TIE Ugly

    DS:

    TIE Talon
    TIE Infiltrator
    TIE Ugly
    Deep Sea Sando

Those'll come during the next few days.

I haven't been keeping up with the books and I suspect that is the source for the cards you're working on. I'm curious where these ship names are coming from? Tie Ugly rings a bell.

I don't know where the TIE Talon and TIE Infiltrator come from. I'm pretty sure the TIE Ugly's from the X-Wing series. And the Enchanced N-1 Starfighter is almost definatly fan-created.

Anyway, added Bongo to the Expanded Universe section.

Thanks for the posting tip, 2nd Quest!

Here is the first card I ever made. I always thought BoShek (a.k.a. 'The Poor Man's Jedi') needed his own ship. This is based on Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina.

The pic was from a Star Trek CCG card (which is a great source for planet and ship images, by the way)

Cool, Obi-Ron. I'll make an 'official EU expansion version' of it, if you'd like.

Have you ever read the Stark-Hyperspace Wars comics?

Here is a card idea from that.

    D.S.
    Republic

    *General Tarkin
Lore: Leader. Hates Senator Valorum. Easily angered. Commander of the Invincible, follows his own orders. Took part in the Stark-Hyperspace War.

    Power 3
    Ability 3
    Force Attuned

    Icons: Pilot and Warrior

GameText: Adds 1 to power of anything he pilots. When aboard Invincible adds 2 to weapons.

    Deploy: 1
    Forfeit: 2

Just use a image of him from the comics.

I'd specify "General (insert first name) Tarkin", since he's actually a relative to the Tarkin we know and love.

I've never read the comic, I didn't know Tarkin had any EU relatives.

Glad you liked Infinity, here's another one for fun:

Heh, that's pretty cool, Obi-Ron. And Tarkin's first name is Wilhuff... so the name will be General Wilhuff Tarkin... now I just have to find a pic of a young Tarkin... *has an idea*
