What a great header by Rio. We didn't really deserve to win, but then Liverpool din't deserve to win the champs league.

 

Couldnt you have kept this to the football/soccer thread? I would have said the same thing if Liverpool won and someone started a thread about liverpool winning.

Not a good result for me though on the Fantasy football. Having 3 ManU players and 3 Liverpool players, It was never gonna be a good week. Rooney and Nistlerooy could have scored though

We really deserved to win that. But thats what makes football great, the best team doesn´t always win.

Even though I am gutted to loose the game we gave it our best and thats all you can really ask from the players so, well done. (Apart from Cisse who was awful! 14 mil for that crap!!!! He missed an open goal for christ sake!)

Well it kinda was a differnt game in double vision. I´m pretty much sober now though.

It was a rather dull game.....until the end

United defended with heart, but Evra looked very shakey, and I thought the 4-3-3 they reverted to later would wreck everything, but it all worked out in the end.

Liverpool played better up until then, so bad luck on them.

And it was very bad of Neville to behave as he did, that sort of thing is not appropriate for a captain.


And a good result for Charlton, so at least the gap between Chelsea and second place is slightly reduced.

 

It's unlikely to be reduced any further though.
