Yeah, well, to be frank, Mike Moore's got be excited.

It's the documentary that was voted by the World Documentary Association (comprising of 100 of the most well respected persons in the Documentary Industry) as the Greatest Documentary of all time.

Hailed as a defining moment in American Sub-culture, this movie is a "must-see" in the opinion of any and all who have seen it.

Now, those of you who have been in the know, might remember JE and I planning this albeit errantly in some posts a moment back.

Well after looking through the paper, I've been lamenting the fact that this wonderful movie is now only showing at left-wing revolutionary cinema's like the Kino, Nova and the George in the City.

Finally, though, it has been settled!

    The details?

What?: Bowling for Columbine: Mike Moore's latest foray into Documentary Film.
Where?: Jam Factory - Main Cinema or Cinema Europa complex.
When?: 7:10pm movie start. Get there early to ensure tickets!

Who?: So far? PoT, JE, RP and FatboySlim are all going to be coming....

    the question is...

    Are YOU?

    *cough*spelling*cough*

Jam Factory, eh? Intriguing idea. I'm probably seeing a movie around that time anyway, but it'll most likely be at Crown, not Jam Factory.

I'll see what I can do.

This movie actually has me intrigued so I will probably show up. I live a five minute walk away from Chapel Street, so I guess I can't use the old "it's too far excuse".

    Count me in.

    Freezes

JE, call The Entertainer. This is serious.
The one-which-is-TJ will be in attendance: along with Reign, possibly Hawk, possibly Elegos, and of course: RP, FBS, and the Huggard's Heroes gang.

    Excited? Of course!

    Goes off to chop wood.

Funny how you never seem to get anyone to come... I didn't go either according to the Three that turned up!

And the Scary thing is they didn't freak out when I did a Manical Mad Scientist Laugh while going up the stairs.

But if theres one thing I'm going to take away from this experience its can be summed up in two words. "Europa, Stylish."

That was truely a great piece of work. I couldn't find any of you bums, but amazingly enough, I met up with and was coincidentily seated next to a guy from my lit class, who I hadn't seen for awhile.

The documentary got it's point over like a charm. America truely is one ****ed up country. That bit with Ben Hur at the end was just freaky.

Some parts had you in hysterics like the dude with the "**** everybody" hat or the farming gun freak. Other bits had you simply flabergasted at the depth and gravity of the whole issue. This isn't a documentary it's an experience.

The part where it showed facts about the American government with the amazingly graphic montage to "What a wonderful world" was jaw dropping and absolutely to the point.

It was also funny how mature Marilyn Manson and Matt Stone were compared to Dick Clark and Charlton Heston.

    Truely a great, great viewing.

Reign, we KNEW you were there, but we couldn't find you!
We debated yelling out REIGN a few times, but thought better of it, thinking you might of pulled a "Hawk" and just not turned up. ;)

TJ, Fatboyslim, JE and I all managed to get tickets to Cinema Europa for the price of normal tickets which was nice.
Nothing like downing a cold one as you watch a movie.

And what a movie. JE and I were both moved to nigh-on tears at some points, I feel ashamed of humanity and feel sorry for America after seeing now neatly they've trapped themselves in an insular existence from which no escape seems possible.

Charlton Heston...what an evil SOB. I hope he rots in hell.

Oh, and TJ, I did notice your evil laugh, but I shrugged and told myself "It's TJ, what do I expect?" ;)

Bowling for Columbine: Not just entertainment, but a mandatory experience for EVERYONE in this country, nay, the world.

Go and see it. We at Mandalore Inc. DARE you.

    Bite me, PoT. :p

I had a perfectly legitimate excuse this time, my mum was coming back from Perth and I had to pick her up from the airport. Family before FanForce. :p

Family Before FanForce? WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT! Oh wait I'm under slaver laws for being allowed to go so I can't say much...

Oh well At least I have evidence I was there.

But it was a good movie any how I think its worth it.
