ST Mandalorians & Sith Witches

A concern for me is that if we see Mandalorians, they aren't turned into a cliche like the Spartans in 300. If we see large numbers of Mandos, I'd prefer they be portrayed similar to the British soldiers at Rorke's Drift. That is, calm, cool, professional and very little, if any, bluster.

I hope they are like Spartans because star wars pulls from different cultures around the world it would be cool to see Spartans.

 

This thread is turning schizophrenic. Wondering if we should have separate ones for witches and mandos?

 

That's probably a good idea, although if we toss in Andy Serkis, we could have him play a schizophrenic Mando Sith Witch.

Well, he did play the witch king.

 

Boba became popular because he was a neutral figure who was only in it for the money. He wasn't an Imperial, nor a Rebel. And he was the first character to be promoted for TESB, two years before it came out, which meant that there was something important about him.

All good points, but I just never found him that interesting as a character. Admittedly, his story has since also been fleshed-out more in AOTC and TCW ... which made him more interesting to me than before, though.

 

Boba was only popular because of his wizard helmet.

 

Sith Witches and Mandalorians would be cool villains had they not already been in The Clone Wars.

The Sith were also villains in TCW. Does that mean they can't be villains in the ST?

The Jedi were already heroes in TCW. Does that mean they should be in the ST?

Oh really? The covers of all four comics have been released? I was aware of the comic, but not that all covers had been released.
That's kind of a spoiler isn't it? Because it informs the reader that Sidious will be fighting Maul and Talzin...

 

They always release the cover and a synopsis of the issue a couple months before it comes out. Just like with the books and the games.

 

Son of Dathomir #1 hints that it's coming and everybody wants to see it, so I could see why they would show a picture of the battle.

 

So help me out. Are the comics supposed to complete the arc of TCW?

 

Not complete arc per se, but they are meant to finish Maul's story in TCW. Because TCW was cancelled before they could show what would happen to Maul and left his story in the dark.
