Jaina_and_Jag: So glad that you finally caught up! :D I'm glad you liked it and thank you for sticking with this story. [face_hug]

Swift_Wrath_SAB: This next one is the last post! Make it count...! I'll definitely try to. :D

J_M_Bulldog: Glad you liked the twist with Jacen, I've had that in mind to do that so long and it's been so hard to wait for it. [face_laugh]

This story is almost over. Phooey! I really like it. *brightens as a thought hits her* You will write more, right? Definitely I will be writing more. I already have a couple of Anakin/Padme in the works for the Saga forum and I'm kicking around several more ideas. I'll tell ya'll more at the end of the epilogue. So be sure and check that out!

_JM_: I think this is probably the longest review that anyone's ever written me. Thank you for all of the time and effort that was obviously put into it. :)

Jag being determined to carry out Jaina?s mission and the Helmsman being equally determined to not let someone kill them all through what he saw as Jag?s inexperience with the limitations of a Star Destroyer. Glad you thought that part was okay. I was afraid I had got Jag a little to 'psycho.' [face_laugh]

I don?t think Jag had blundered. Like you said, I don't think he did either. That really was the right choice, but I think, had he known about Jaina before hand, he would have made a different choice, imo.

?if at first you don?t succeed (despite having armour which prevented you from being gutted by a lightsabre strike and from being affected by having a coufee thrown into you)- CHEAT!?

    ROFL!

The awkwardness of the close-quarters made me wonder if any Jedi have ever made a dual(or more)-phase Lightsabre to produce a shorter blade (a ?lightdagger?) rather than to produce a longer blade. If they didn't, they probably should have. A lightsaber does not work for everything.

Eeek! Supreme Overlord Jacen? The Vong don?t think he is their new Supreme Overlord, if the challenge was in the proper form and was duly accepted then he is their new Supreme Overlord. :0 Seriously, that was my favorite part to write and a nice way to deal with Jacen's problems, imo. Plus I have some other stuff planned that'll work better that way so... [face_devil]

JAGSGURL15: IS THERE ANY MUSH IN THE EPI? :D *whispers* I think you'll like it!

Okay, now I'm not going to be posting the Epilogue just yet. I decided to wait until Wednesday, because I haven't gotten it beta'd yet. So check back Wednesday night for that and thank you all very much for reading!

JAGSGURL15 and J_&_J: Oh no! I've killed two of my readers, lol. Sorry for the delay, folks. Hope you like this last part! :D

    The Epilogue

    Six Months Later

For once Jaina Solo was not wearing a flight suite or her Jedi robes. Instead she wore a long, form fitting white dress, that conveyed a sense of glowing beauty and elegance that wasn?t normally associated with Jaina. A happy smile lit up her face as she walked towards her father.

As Han watched his eldest child walk towards him, he wore a gruff, but proud smile. When she finally stood in front of him, he looked at her for a long moment, trying to memorize every detail of his daughter?s features.

?Ready, Sweetheart,? Han asked her, holding his arm out to her.

Jaina ignored the gesture and instead reached towards him to hug him tightly. Han returned the gesture, holding on to her gratefully. Only a few months ago, he and Leia had practically ben estranged from Jaina and now he was here, preparing to escort her to the side of the man that she would spend the rest of her life with. They had come a long way.

Han hugged her tighter, trying not to think about all of the things that Jaina had seen and done in her life- all of the things that he hadn?t been able to protect her from, and said softly, ?I love you, Jaina.?

Jaina pulled away from him and smiled at him brilliantly. ?Thank you, Daddy.? This time she did slip her arm through his.

Han patted her hand with his as they stared ahead at the doors, standing closed in front of them. Jaina took a long serene breath and then cocked her head over at her father. ?I?m ready now, Dad.?

Han took on last look at Jaina, unable to restrain his proud smile and then said. ?All right then, kiddo. Let?s go.?

Together they walked towards the doors, father and daughter together again for the first time in years, to celebrate a turning point in Jaina?s life. As they passed through the heavy ornate doorway and walked into the large ceremonial chamber, Jaina?s fingers clenched tightly around Hans? arm. She felt a flash of nervousness pass through her at the sight in front of her. On both sides of the path before her sat dignitaries from dozens of different worlds. Senators, High Councilors and Admirals mingled with Grand Moffs and high ranking Chis officials. The Chief of State, Cal Omas, and Grand Admiral Pelleaon shared a large row of seats, full of their entourages.

In another section sat all of those that Jaina counted as family and friends. Leia sat next to an empty seat, waiting for Han to take his place at her side with a wide smile for her daughter that still couldn?t hide the hint of perpetual sadness in her eyes. On Leia?s other side, Tahiri was seated. She and Tenel Ka were sitting on either side of Jacen and both were well aware of their friend's discomfort with the situation. His responsibilities as the Supreme Overlord were continuing to change him, but today he looked more like the young boy that he had been when they had first started at the Jedi Academy. Jacen was beaming with joy for his twin and he looked confident enough, but sitting next to Tenel Ka, he still looked slightly nervous and unsure. The way that he was unconsciously leaning towards Tenel Ka, however, made Jaina wonder if that might be the reason that for the way that Jacen looked. Tenel Ka had always had that effect on Jacen. Perhaps some things hadn?t changed. The thought made Jaina flash her twin a quick smirk and send him a teasing thought through the Force. Jacen would get the message well enough.

Jaina almost had to laugh at his startled and bewildered thought in response. For all that he was now truly and officially the Supreme Overlord of the Yuuzhan Vong, Jacen was still clueless about certain things- like his feelings for Tenel Ka.

Luke and Mara caught her eye next. They sat next to Tenel Ka with a now not-so-little Ben sandwiched between them. Jaina met Mara?s eyes and sent her aunt a feeling of thanks through the Force. Mara had bee/>

=D= Perfect ending! :D Jaina and Jag getting married is so sweet! [face_love]

Jaina restrained her scowl and the biting retort that she longed to unleash on the General for his comment about her piloting skills and said instead, ?If the General doubts my piloting skills, why doesn?t he test them himself. I would be more than happy to fly against the General on a simulator or in a blanks only fight.?
[face_laugh] How did I know that she would say something like that?! [face_laugh]

This story was so awesome JS15! :D No sequel is okay... I guess. :p More story's is always good. ;) :p

Luke Skywalker begins the ceremony by saying, ?Good afternoon and welcome to the knighting ceremony for Jaina_Solo_15 who is being knighted by her Master Jaya Solo.?

?Welcome everyone. It has been my privilege over the past six months to serve as a mentor, beta, and friend to my young padawan. She has written three fan fiction stories about Jaina and Jag, and she has even since then branched out and written a vignette about Padme and Anakin. Jaina_Solo_15 has even won the prestigious award for Best Underrated Fiction in the Beyond the Saga forum.

?It is my great honor to Knight you today, Jaina_Solo_15. Jaina, please kneel.?

?In the past, Masters would cut the padawan braid as their padawan became a knight, but since we have left these old ways in favor of more fashionable hair styles, especially the longer kind, it is no longer possible to remove a braid and signal the end of a relationship. Master?s are given the privilege to knight their padawans as they see fit.

?May I have your saber please?? Jaya asks her padawan, who in turn, passes on her saber to her master.

Jaya raises the hilt of Jaina?s saber to her shoulders and gently taps each of shoulder with the hilt. Jaya can be seen with tears in her eyes.

?Rise, Knight Jaina_Solo_15, and give me a hug!?

?Oh, and I brought you a present for your knighting. Come here,? Jaya says as she calls off into a corner of the room. ?He?s a little shy.?

Jag Fel is seen sheepishly walking from behind a curtain, wearing a big, lavender bow on his head.

?I hope you enjoy! Congratulations Padawan? I mean, Knight Jaina_Solo_15!?

JainaSticksSolo19: I'm glad that you liked the ending, I was hoping everyone would like that.

J_&_J: How did I know that she would say something like that?! It seemed like a very Jaina thing to say. It was one of my favorite lines. Hmmm...Starts thinking about writing that as a missing moment..

JAGSGURL15: great wonderful! me woveys! I'm glad you liked it! I thought you would love that mushy ending! :D

J_M_Bulldog: Jag and Jaina are married. Yippee! All right, apparently everyone likes that part!

Jaya Solo: Aww, thanks Jaya! [face_blush]

NYCitygurl: Thanks! [face_blush] I'm actually kinda sad that it's over too, but I'm glad that I actually finished it.

Sara_Kenobi: [face_blush] Thanks for the vote of confidence, Master! I'm glad you have some time off and I really hope you enjoy the rest of the story! :D

Jagsredlady: I haven't quite finished reading, but what I've read is first rate. Love it.

I'll return to review thoroughly when I'm done.
Wow, thanks! [face_blush] I can't wait to see what you think.

MysteriousRaven13: Congrats, Knight Jaina_Solo_15. Both on your knighting and your award. :) Thanks!

Okay folks, for your reading delight, I have not on but three new things up tonight. I've posted another missing moment here and here's a new story that I'm reposting from the Classic section Sword of the Jedi and an Anakin/Padme vignette Forever Unchanged. Hope ya'll enjoy!

Well at long last I return to the Force.net. I have been gone for 3 months and one truely great thing has happened.

Jaina Solo 15's fantastic story was given the rewards it should have gotten. It is the best Fanfic Ihave read of anykind. I have truely enjoyed this story more than many of the novels of the last year or so.

You handled the character very well and never belittled any of them to make others stronger. The over all flow of the story was very "Star Wars" pased.

    Congrats on winning

And thank you so very much for Writing the story and sharing it with us.
