Mapping the Galaxy (SW Sector, system and other non-full-galaxy maps)

How many maps of sector, routes etc. where there and what are they in? I know tapani, elrood and some others, but I need a list which WEG rpg material featured what map. or other stuff featuring maps and good cartografic informations.

Lets list them here, I know some are redone at cartys great site, but I am looking for the originals and others. maybe posting scans of them here is allowed? thx

 

I don't have a map on hand, but I can name some important trade routes: The Correllian run, the Perlemian trade Route and the hydian Way.
Locations I can remember off the top of my head are the Tion Hegemony, the Corporate Sector and the Stenness Node.

 

Cartographer will be of assistance, I'm sure.

Ceiran, I hope you're aware of WOTC's Galactic Gazetteer which has an awesome map of Yarith, Anoat, and Javin Sectors.

 

Sue Rostoni said a while back in VIP Thread at TOS that there might be a map of the Unknown Regions in TUQ or the New Essential Chronology. Since it wasn't in TUQ we might still get it in the New Essential Chronology.

 

Here's what I got from my notes, which cover galaxy, region, route and sector maps -- but not system maps.

This is missing some old, superceded maps -- I've updated notes as I've gone to reflect the best maps, so if something's not listed that should (fingers crossed) mean everything on it is contained in a more-recent/better source.

Lords of the Expanse -- sector map, trade route maps
Rebellion videogame -- some usable placements of sectors within galaxy, some don't make sense
Secrets of the Sisar Run -- Hutt Space map, has some errors
The Star Wars Planets Collection -- Elrood sector map
Twin Stars of Kira -- trade route map
Ultimate Visual Guide -- Shadda-Bi-Boran placement
Wizards Web Site -- Hoth area map

My notes say there are unique map placements in these NJO books:
Vector Prime
Dark Journey
Destiny's Way
The Unifying Force

In terms of overall galaxy maps, the best one is the about-to-arrive New Essential Chronology; according to my notes, the two Fact Files maps have placements not reflected on that one. All the other galaxy maps -- again, according to my notes -- have been superceded and can be ignored in favor of what's on those three.
