    OK I know this is a dumb question, but for some reason I can't remember and can't find it easily Googling. So I knew it would immediately be solved (and chastised) here.

    In which book did Nom Anor give Mara the virus? I am re-reading Vector Prime and I thought it was in there, but she already has it in the book.

    Sorry for the mundane question.

    She didnt get it in any actual book. That event is purely represented by conjecture in the NJO series. It might be that a short story actually detailing the event has later surfaced in Insider or somewhere else, but I can't find anything pointing to that.
