Calgary ~~~ March 13th Meeting ~~~

Tosche Station, the Calgary Star Wars Fan Force will be having its next meeting on Monday, March 13th.

We are still arranging for another visit to the "secret rebel location" that hosted our last meeting. If that does not pan out, then it will be at the "Lemon Garden Restaurant" on 2913 Richmond Road SW, next to Red 5 Collectibles.

Things to bring to this meeting:
* $45 for March lighsaber classes (if unpaid)
* Jeremy Bulloch donation (Optional, details to follow)
* An item for the Food Bank (Optional)
* Enthusiasm (Mandatory)

Time: Depends on location, to be posted

Time 6pm. - Doors close at 6:30 sharp so be there or get left out in the cold.

Well, I was REALLY wanting to make it to this one, but now we have 2 people quitting in 2 weeks, and my only EXTREMELY SMALL chance (to get the day off work) is to see if our new guy is wanting some extra hours. Otherwise, I'm can't (expletive) make it. Monday's and Tuesday's are the toughest weekdays for my to try to get off. Friday's are possible, but are all monthly meetings always on a Monday?

 

Monthly meetings are usually on a Monday as lots of people have commitments the rest of the week. It also allows us to start our week out right with something we all love. Hopefully you can get out of work and make it to this one. Is that a cold you have coming on??? cough cough......

I also managed to get a human from work interested, so he will be there too.

 

WEll, I don't want to get TOO excited, but it looks like I may be able to make it after all. I'd say my chances are at 90% affirmative!

This will be a good chance for me to "test" out my sweet new robe!

Does anyone else 'gear up' for these "Secret location meetings"?

 

I may wear my robes, or just bring my new belt. I haven't decided yet. But if I wear my robes I'm bringing my Luke FX so Damien isn't the only one with a glowing plastic stick.

 

*LOL* It goes without saying, that if I'm wearing my robe, I'll definately have at least one lightsaber, but maybe 2: 1EL and 1 LED.

Of course, I'll probably bring all my hilts, in case anyone wants to take a look. By then, I should have purchased some padding for my carry cases, and have them customized to protect all my hilts.

I got up this morning so EXCITED - because I thought tonight was our meeting. It only occured to me around 10am this morning that it was next week

Is it the 13th yet???!!!!!

 

1 more week. I know I was hoping it was tonight.

I have a midterm for my tuesday night class on the 14th. So this meeting will help me get through it.
