Minutes for March 5th Meeting

Interim Chapter Representative

The group has voted that while cathiecat is unavailable during her surgery and recovery Boga-the-Magnificent will act as Interim CR. Maker help us all

March of Dimes

Julie from the March of Dimes was there to present her event to us. The event will be held:

April 22nd
we need to be there in costume by 7:30am
U of A

This will be a major event for the TFF. We will be there to kick off the event and welcome runners back and entertain the kids, etc.

We discussed other things that we can do for the March of Dimes such as fundraising at Kmart and Frys.

Metabolic Disorder Festival [Dustin's PKU Event]

This will not be a walk but a festival.

May 6th from 8am to 11am
Reid Park
Costumed Event to benefit children with metabolic disorders.

Cathie and Dustin will be meeting with the Library's Program Director this Wednesday.

As a benefit, this will be an indoor event.

We talked about this but it didn't seem like it was going anywhere. We want to find a way to fund the group for small expenditures that we find we need to make.

It was another wonderfull meeting..and always a good thing to see my friends. Those burgers were awesome! Props to you and youre wife Dusty...nice grill by the way. The cookies rocked! the Brownies were stupendous...I used some of the yummy ice cream Mr. WOOK! brought and made a brownie ala'mode! mmmmmm. Thanks again for the b-day present Wook! lmao. It was great meeting you, Jedi Obi Cat, and great to have you aboard.

Hey guys just wondering if antone is planning the April meeting yet would REALLY like be show if thats ok with everyone

 

AFAIK we weren't going to have a formal meeting in April because of all the charity events we are going to be involved in.

I'm going to be trying to get a list of everything that we need to work on for April. If you look at the minutes of the meeting you'll see the list of events we are doing.

Dustin, did you and Cat meet with the Library Director?

 

Yes and It went extremely well, she was very impressed and said if she couldnty fit us into an event for this summers theme there is an after program party with a ton of kids she'd have us at.

Personally I think we should have a meeting in April since there are some newbies that wanna check us out. We know Bookmans is booked, so my place is available, Cats probably is too, but we'd have to watch out for the cables suspending her from the cieling

What do you guys think? We have alot nott o have a meeting in my opinion, how about Sunday April 2nd? Heck even if we met at Ried Park under a Ramada we'd get some planning done!

 

I know April 2nd is out for me because I already have an event I'm attending that day. Jack is attending the same event IIRC.

I do not think we should impose upon Cat to host a meeting right now. She'd probably say yes in a heartbeat but at the same time we need to give her a break. She has just been through major surgery.

April 8th is the DSG event.

Perhaps we could all hook up at a restaurant or coffee place for a quick meet?

 

Just say where and when and I'll be there..Sat-Sun preffered.
