Our next general meeting is Saturday, March 8th at 12:00 Noon at Comic Quest on Morgan Ave.

The tentative agenda:

Our next "Movie Night" (We can probably put Stackky in charge of this one)
Other club activities(picnics, bowling, etc.)
Collecting
Book Club Update
Gaming
TCG Games(If everyone is still up for this, we are going to try to play TCG after each general meeting. Bring your cards!!)

Ahem. I think the next movie out would be X2. Unless anyone wants to see Holes or Piglet's Big Capitalistic Attempt to Ruin Another Childhood Classic.

 

Let's not forget that we have to talk about Free Comic Book Day.

 

As far as picnics and such go we really should have a get together at holiday world.

Free comic day will be a nice event hmm I had an idea but lost my thought train eeeep

 

I will not be able to make it once again. Speech sectionals are Saturday and I will leave for Washington DC that night (a whole week in the worst city to be in right now).

 

I'm planning on bringing my TCG stuff to the meeting if anyone is interested

 

Meeting notes for 3-8-03:

* 5 members were in attendance & 2 noobs stopped by.

* Our next movie night will probably be in early May to see X2.

* We will be scheduling some club activities such as bowling, picnics, miniature golf and a summer trip to Holiday World. If anyone has any contacts that might be able to get us discounts on activities like this, please post them or PM Scott. Additionally, if you want to schedule an activity, feel free to start the ball rolling by posting your idea.

* We will be participating in the Free Comic Book Day at Comic Quest on May 3. We will set up a table to give away E'ville Jedi flyers and play/demonstrate the Trading Card Game.

* Collecting: Some of the newly released action figures are hitting our local stores (Mainly the Wal-Marts & Targets. TRU has not been too great). Check the collecting thread for details.

* Book Club: Adam states that all true SW fans WILL be at book club meetings. Read Edge of Victory I: Conquest and come to the meeting on 3-25-03 at Barnes & Noble, 6:30 PM as always.

* TCG: Be on the lookout for the new "Battle of Yavin" expansion: 3-31-03.

* After the meeting, Andrew, Scott, Nathan & Jill played some TCG & talked some smack.
