    Yep, go Butler!

Over/under: 20 months before Kentucky and Calipari have to vacate this Final Four run

Someone has to do a great amount of convincing to get me to watch the title game on Monday..........................I can see the headline on Monday night now: Butler wins 1st ever National Title! Final score, 57-54.

They beat Boston!: 2009-2010 L.A. Lakers: Back-to-Back World Champions

R...J, I think the bigger question is which comes first: UK vacating their final four run, or UConn cavating theirs?

That means I win the bracket challenge right?

UK's going to happen before UConn. Butler's going to win it all, so the title won't matter.

At least I know I won't win the bracket challenge. :p

And, it sucks that tomorrow night's game looks to be a good one. I might miss it entirely due to RL. [face_plain]

Yeah, I'm not as convinced that UConn's run will be vacated. It very well could happen, yes, but Kentucky's much more likely. Yes, Calipari, we're looking at you.

A huge portion of the UConn Alums/fans in Boston descended on the same bar near Fenway last night, it was pretty wild. Almost as good as being on campus.

...and it's official. I'm going to miss the first half of the game. Oh well...at least it'll be better than 2009, when I missed the entire Final Four run because I was out of the country, incommunicado style. :p

My brother is going to have the game on, so I may wander toward the TV from time to time during this game.

I will be swapping with Dancing with the Stars until Chris Jericho dances and then the game is on.

    Underway! Go Butler!

Also, CBS flipped which side of the court the camera was on after the first possession. What the heck?

I just thought I was going crazy.

Both teams are cold shooting to start. Butler even missing layups.

It would not surprise me to see Connecticut lead most of the way then have Butler take the lead with about 7-8 minutes to go and control the game down the stretch. That's when fatigue could really kick in again for UConn. They certainly looked winded late against Kentucky, especially Kemba Walker.

And right after I type that, Kemba actually takes a seat on the bench... for the first time in 4 games.

UConn foul trouble starting to be a factor. Fouls are probably another factor from the fatigue. Just can't defend quite as crisp.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about the fouls. Very possible.

Butler not shooting well at the line, though.

Butler needs to start rebounding better, too.

True. I should have just said Butler not shooting well, period. Anything inside the arc, most especially.

Butter with a nice three at the buzzer. Overall, though, this game is threatening Big Ten Scoring trends. Butler up three at the half.

Yeah, lot of defense, not much good shooting.

Still, what a 3 at the buzzer for Mack!

Did anyone else catch the "Rice Owls: We didn't make the Final Four, but neither did TEXAS" sign?

Either team may not make it to the 50 point mark.
