And Murray State is done. Rough way to end the season in the 2nd round, after such a promising start.

    :(

They fell apart at the end unfortunately after such a close game.

And so we'll get UK-IU part 2 in the Sweet Sixteen. If it's anywhere near as good of a game, we are all very fortunate to be college basketball fans.

CU and Baylor are in a dog fight right now. Still seems odd to me that two Big XII teams are playing in the second round ... oh, wait.

    Oh hey, Trikes. [face_mischief]

I'm looking forward to UNC's game, but I'll be keeping a close eye on Ohio - South Florida and the 15 seeds. Hope that one of the 15s can win again.

Pretty straightforward day today. Norfolk State is getting crushed by Florida, so they won't advance.

    Kendall Marshall broken wrist.

Not gonna be our year, I'm afraid. With Henson still recovering but playing, we should be able to outclass South Florida or Ohio, but Kansas will be a huge problem.

Lehigh up 29-16 on Xavier. Are we looking at a 15-seed in the sweet sixteen?

What a shame. I was looking forward to instructing all of you how to properly say "Norfolk," but it's pointless now! Bah!

And this Kendall Marshall news bites. [face_plain]

I can't wait for that Kentucky-Indiana rematch..I have a feeling Kentucky is going to pummel them into dust because Indiana isn't playing their best. I do hope that Kentucky faces at least a little pushback, because Baylor is going to give them all they can handle in the last 8.

Marquette-Florida is going to be extremely entertaining too, very fast teams that are playing well.

And the trademark Inty Curse strikes again. Xavier ends the half strong, and opens the second half with a 7-0 run to surge into the lead.

Meanwhile, Ohio is on the verge of a Sweet Sixteen birth ...

1/4 of the sweet sixteen field is from Ohio (The Ohio State, Ohio, Cincinnati and Xavier). Since when did Ohio become a basketball state? :p

4 Ohio teams in the Sweet Sixteen? Surely this is another sign of the Apocalypse!

    They Britta'd it big time.

I wish that they'd been able to hold on.
