    Animation?!? =P~
I'd be up for that - and Moose? You can get a single to Exeter for £7.60 if you book in adevance with a YPs Railcard :) Only hitch is that you have to book over a week in advance...

That thing finishes this Saturday, and I don't plan on going to a convention for a meet :p

To me, London still sounds like the best idea (though slightly expensive) :p

    Darn - I didn't check the date... [face_blush] Meanie! :p

London also sounds good - fairly easy for me to get to from Farnham too. And besides, if everyone is still insisting on a little culture, *shivers*, then most of the museums/galleries are free entry, aren't they?

Yea, but if I wanted to get there before midday I'd have to pay £60 on a ticket :p

Oh well, I'd just have to be late so I can get away with £30 :p

And we don't have to go see museums. That was just an idea. We could do something else culturally... like a comic shop raid (though I did one last month :p ).

Plus, if Richie and Heda come along, they'll be like native guides towards comic shops (I can't remember where they all are now, except Forbidden Planet :p )

    Ouch - viva off-peak tickets! :D

I don't really mind what we do - I just thought I'd play a bit of devil's advocate ;) Although I've never been to a comic shop (I know: shock, horror - there just aren't any near either of my houses! :p )

Still, I don't mind - whatever anyone fancies doing, as long as it doesn't involve a tour of London's sewer works, then it's fine by me! :p

I can escort people to Forbidden Planet and The Cinema Shop.
I forget where the other major comic shop is, but I can find out.

Plus there's a shop near to FP called Dress Circle which sells theatre memorabilia, incase anyone might decide they want a Mary Poppins parrot umbrella :p

Ooo... [face_hypnotized] Gimme! I want a Mary Poppins parrot umbrella! [face_chicken] (Yes, I know it's a chicken - they'd run out of parrots at the smiley shop... :( ) :D

I can't do meets on either Saturday or Sunday since I work and booking time off needs nearly a month's advance notice.
    Fridays are good though.

But don't plan things around me, I only lurk here :p

Thursdays are probably best for me, but I could do friday afternoons (if I skip lectures) :p

Depending on the Thursday I can do it.
I have lectures only until 12, but I can always skip one lecture.
It's only on evolution anyway, I seem to be the only one in the lesson that asks questions :p

My friday lecture is complementary studies. Half the time no one turns up anyway, because it's got nothing to do with Photography :p

Aye, we still get a tutorial lesson where all they talk about is work placement (which if you've already done it is pointless) or filling out some pointless form or survey thing no-one cares about.

But lecturers seem suprised by the low turnout of such subjects :p

You also need to be a young person.

I don't have anything on Thursdays.

You're eligible until you're 26, so take advantage of the system, I say! [face_whistling] ;)

And some Thursdays are Ok for me - I have tutorials every 3 weeks, so it depends on the date. :p

Dar: I think we're still working on the date, but I think London has been confirmed...

Pretty much going to be London, I reckon. It's easiest for most of us, save those in the far Southwest :p

"There's a whole in the world like a great black pit
and the vermin of the world inhabit it
and its morals aren't worth what a pin can spit
and it goes by the name of London.
At the top of the hole sit the previlaged few
Making mock of the vermin in the lonely zoo
turning beauty to filth and greed...
I too have sailed the world and seen its wonders,
for the cruelty of men is as wonderous as Peru
but there's no place like London!"

Nah, I like it really :p

Gonna make it a joint chapter meet (they're all the rage these days, see North/Scotland/South/Germany/South Australia :p) or just Southerners in London?

    Well, if Richie's coming it'll be South/London, and if Heda comes it'll be South/London/Croatia (unless Heda's officially joined London, I can't remember :p ).

    London calling...

    :p

    Damn duality! :p
It would be nice if all those people from the North meet come to London as well... ;)

I think museums are always very fun to see and I consider the Natural History Museum my second home, but a nice tour in Forbidden Planet, Movie Shop, Comicana, Orbital, Orc's Nest, even Fopp and whatnot would be nice too.

So, when is the meet going to be held?

Me too, I'd have to catch the 10:20 train lest I face huge fares, thus I'd get to Waterloo just before 12.

Not sure where to meet though. Euston's fine for when we meet up randomly, but it's a bit out of the way for everyone else :p
