Orlando, FL March Meeting

I will be at the March meeting and I'm up for whatever. The Globe was nice, but if the majority wants to try something new I'm game.

It was a suggestion only. Last time Campbell, Brandon & I walked all the way around Lake Eola looking for a good alternative and guess what; we ended up eating at the Globe. If there's a place with-in a block or two radius, a good alternative that would be cool but in the end we are creatures of habit and the Globe seems to be ours. However, since I like trying new things, if I hear of something interesting, I'm going to suggest it and let the majority rule.

Hey! Being the new guy I might need more info about the meeting place. I know where the library is, but have never been there. Do you meet in a conference room or something? Any particular floor? Fill me in.

I'm looking forward to going Saturday, and meeting everyone.

I just called and verified, we are all set for this Saturday in a "conference room" under the name "Orlando System". We're reserved from 12n-3pm but I'm sure we'll be done before then.

Here's the good news: I won't be at the meeting. Bad news is I am going on a whirlwind trip from here to DC and back by Sunday nite. It seems everytime there is a meeting something comes up... you guys need a prognosticator and plan the meetings on days something won't come up. Don't miss me too much peeps.

Though it wasn't listed until late Friday, we did get a mention on the FanForce page, and a link among the other weekend meetings on the main TF.n page.

See I didn't think so. The grueling 12 hour trip up to DC and back is over. I managed to see all the monuments in DC in a day and do probably 20 miles of walking. I was able to fly through Virginia, N. and S. Carolina at speeds over 85 to 100. I have come to the conclusion we live in one of the darkest states at night- which is a good thing- and talk about a difference in altitude.
