Spring, MO March's meeting discussions...

Ok, here is what I am thinking: Meeting Saturday the 10th. Movie time around 6 (what is playing closest), either Wild Hogs or 300.

Ronnie's would be easiest to get to from 270 and turn onto Gravois, follow that to Lindberg and turn right. The theater is about 5 miles on the left side. The address:

Since the doesn't seem to be a whole lot of interest, would anyone like to get together to costume or for a book discussion? We could meet to decide how we want this all to work out...

 

I need to work on my costume and get some input so costuming would be cool, but I am also reading Allegiance now, so book discussion is cool with me too. I will go with group consensus.

 

Hmmm, I haven't read Alliagance yet so I don't really want it spoiled and I'm not working so I can't really afford to do any costuming(not that I really know how).....

 

My reason for suggesting a different meeting type is because there seems to be a lack of interest. I am looking for something to snag everyones attention...

I am still up for a movie, even if it is a small turnout.

 

Frank, we could always discuss a book that has been out for a while or favorite author, etc.
As for costumes, if could just be a way to bounce ideas off of each other and maybe sit around and sketch lightsaber designs, sketching ideas for non-canon costumes or cheap ways to make costumes, maybe sewing tutorials (hand or machine), etc. It doesn't necessarily have to start with buying all that is needed to make a costume. I am broke too and sometimes it is just brainstorming that gets the costuming urge going.

**edit oops, just realized there is actually more weekends available... although, I may be busy the last two, if my in-laws show up again. But they won't let me know until the day before...

 

since I work on the weekends, I dunno if I'll be able to attend. if I can, sunday would be best more than likely. I think wild hogs would be a nice movie to see, it looks funny from the previews.

 

I am sorry Draco but Sundays are hard on most part. We have found Saturdays are best... that being said I say we watch the movie this Saturday. There is a show at 5:35 or 7:35. I think Frank needed the later one, I am not sure if that still true? If we want to do something after, we can decide after the movie.

 

I'm confuzzled. Which movie are we seeing? We've sort of talked about three or so.

It is ok Frank. Steve and I totally enjoyed it. It was so funny from the first moment till the end. Fabulous music and great actors. This is definelty a keeper.
