We get to see him in The Flash too.
On Luke, the rumors about him being in hiding/sick/crazy reminds me a bit of Theoden King from LOTR

I remember tuning in for his original turn as the Trickster. That was a lot of fun. It will be interesting to see his Trickster now as a comparison.

i find it cool that Mark was able to portray not only the ultimate good guy but also the ultimate bad guy. after 20+ years of him portraying the Joker, I'm glad he has finally returned to the Light side.

The ultimate bad guy? He isn't REALLY Vader in Dagobah, you know...

Mark's Joker was the only one I even remotely enjoyed. I am glad he's known for that too.

It's says a lot that Mark is comfortable playing heroes and villains and does them both so well.

I think Luke needs to demonstrate a force ability not yet seen or a level of power not yet seen. I don't think he will have turned to the darkside, I do think he will be reluctant to help the ST youngsters, but will eventually weigh in and that moment will be spectacular.

I reckon this Uber character will be as powerful or certainly cunning enough to counter Luke, as otherwise the ST will lose its edge with an all powerful Skywalker helping the Alliance.

I always liked Mark Hamill as an actor, and I can't wait for him to reprise this role.

Force Ability like....Maybe he can transcend his consciousness in a Dr.X kind of way. Not into another person per se, just be able to have a vision of something that is currently going on. I know, not great, just spit balling...

I think Mark will do great in episode 7, I mean its not like he hasn't been acting over the years, he has done some great voice acting in Cartoons, he was really good in, Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back, He was great in Comic Book The Movie, and although I found Sushi Girl to be a quite odd film Mark did Fabulous in It.

I expect Luke will be able to move massive objects that even Yoda would have said "I'll try" before attempting.

The PT movies were limited in what they could do or show, as we had already seen the OT and what powers were available at that stage. However the ST will not have the same constraints as the PT, and I think we will really see some amazing "Force Unleashed" abilities.

I feel the same way. I would rather not have any force ghosts if it doesn't serve a specific purpose, or help move the plot in some way. I suppose I wouldn't mind them revealing some kind of history we've seen earlier in the saga, (like with Obi-Wan in ROTJ) but beyond that I'd hope it would be something pivotal, or to help a character in a time of great need.

That being said, I will say that my hope is that we see a force ghost Anakin (Hayden).

    Go ahead and hate,

But I really think that could be a great way to thread abit of interesting Skywalker family continuity through all three trilogies.

At any rate, I'm hoping that we don't see Yoda at all. I feel his time is done, and he got a great send off. Besides-if it's true that we'll see Darth Vader somewhere, I feel it would come off cheezy and rather forced if they just bring back ALL the previous favorite characters. We don't need to see EVERYONE again.

If that does happen, here's what I'll be doing in the theater:

At least don't put them all in THIS one episode. I am in agreeance that I wouldn't mind "a little fan service," but too much is....too much.

Why not, Luke is the version of Anakin Skywalker that followed the right path. It is only proper that we get to see some mega force powers unleashed, to see what his old man would have been capable of.

We've seen what Yoda was capable of, now its time to see what Luke can do.

Unleash the lightside of the force, and discover a power greater than any Sith lord.

    This.

It's time to see Luke, the way we've always hoped to see him. Not just "potential," but ACTUAL power!!
