    Hi, Mark Hamill was caught comparing Force Awakens to Transformers in an interview at the Cambridge union. What do you think about it?

    I think it's more like Fuller House than Transformers.

    I loved TFA but I get what he was saying that as long as it makes money, the studios don't necessarily care if it's great or not.

    I think it was more a pox on the state of blockbusters then SW in general. People are more apt to see sequels then something original so studios are going to.play it safe with an existing franchise.

    He was not comparing them. He used Transformers as an example of a financially successful franchise, that is largely panned as being of low quality. His point was that commercial success doesn't equate quality filmmaking. This will lead nowhere good. Locking.
