What if Robert Boulter's character is killed off in the flashback and Mark's playing Force Ghost Luke? [face_dancing]

I mean in the EU we see them interact a lot, EU thrown out and now their not interacting . it makes one be fond of the EU even if you did not like a lot of it.

Oh ok... I see... On that note... Yep I think they could keep it a secret if they wanted to. In the words of Tom Jones, 'it's not unusual', to have a closed set and not disclose call sheets etc. :)

It would be odd for the death of a younger Luke, only for him to show up as a much older ghost.

God, hell no. So how old is this Robert Boulter btw? Is he not to young to play Luke post ROTJ? If like Luke was killed after the celebrations, awful, awful. Don't think Kasdan in his wildest dreams would approve...with JJ though, you never know....

This is a little off-topic I know, but since someone mentioned Mark Hamill's appearance in Criminal Minds and some doubt his acting ability, so I post this video snippet here: ;)

Actually it'd be Kasden who'd likely be the one to propose such a bold move, that guy was ruthless, if it wasn't for Lucas half the cast would've been killed in ROTJ!

I wonder if the novels are what is meant by a September 4 roll out date and that's all we get in September.

All merchandise has a September 4th street date.

Hasbro HAS to release the toys in September because their warehouse space lease runs out then. They originally reserved the warehouse space for the toys when Episode VII was releasing on May 22nd. That changed, but their lease on the warehouses didn't. So they have to get all the product on shelves and at retailer warehouses by September.

What is the advantage. Luke only train a padawan? Or he wants a successor? And not an apprentice. Why not let Rose?

If they want to continue witht the balance of the Force theory Luke should just train one. We had the Old Jedi Orden with lots of Jedi and only two Siths. That causes an inbalance and the Jedi were wipe out until only two ramained. Luke destroys the Sith and the Force is imbalanced again, so a new Sith arises. During TFA the Force is inbalanced as Luke is alone vs two new Sith, so he need a new apprentice.

Notice how the flashback hints Luke trained more once, but ended up killed. That could be a hint.

Wow, I didn't realize this. So all figures, lego sets, etc will be out in early September?

Everything EXCEPT for official Making Of and Art of Books, the novel, and the soundtrack I assume.

Hasbro Wave 1 is all out in September.

Not sure on Lego but they'll probably release the same time.

The Art book is November I believe.

Sounds like a planned multi-media campaign supporting TFA. Sounds great!

I noticed some April and June releases but no September ones that I saw. I also did not see anything about the Art or Making books on that list.(but we know they'll be there).
