Edmonton MARKS BIRTHDAY PARTY - JULY 9th

I know everyone is probably going to want to lynch me for this but I have to have it the 9th. I have people coming in from Red Deer and Calgary who can only make it on that day and I forgot about it. Sorry for the confusion and Shanna now you can turn that frown upside down and oh hell no I did not just pull a Mr. Rogers lol.

That's alright, there's always, every other weekend this year

The official start time to this thing is 4:00 pm. That's when the patties hit the grill folks. I would do ribs except for the fact I'm not quite yet independantly wealthy so it's burgers, hot dogs, and meh, what the hell, some steak too.

Pay the small horse no mind. He's a total Heinz 57 so guessing the breed is hopeless.

He's old so he doesn't do backflips anymore but he'll do everything else in the book for a peice of that bbq. He does have some manners though so worry not about your meal, lest you leave it in range.

I would ask at this juncture for someone to bring chips and pop. I can cover the other stuff like potato salad and whatnot.

 

No worries, man. Just say the word and some of us can bring Salad, condiments, etc.

You know what, just bring whatever you feel the need to. If it's too much it's not as if people can't take home leftovers but I'd rather have too much than not enough. As it stands now it looks like there will be about 10 people in attendance so far.

Oh and Connor, if you get the spare time get cracking on those saber hilt designs, we can go over them that day and start to come up with a plan for construction.

Actually if I'm perfectly honest I think peanut butter is nasty in anything not related to a piece of bread. Cookies, chocolate, it's just unnatural lol. You can bring them of course because I'm sure lots of people will like them.

I'm going to get a large birthday cake with a huge crab on it. I have an affinity for crab (as some of my former Quad City crew can attest to having been witness to what I do to an all you can eat chinese buffet) and I also happen to be a cancer so it works from every angle.

Rest assured it won't taste like crab though.

I have a C3 Darth Vader autographed by David Prowse and initialled by GL. They go on ebay for about $150 but I'll sell it to fanforce members for the same to keep it in the family so to speak. I have two of them left.

And thanks guys. I appreciate everyones willingness to pitch in. Still I would like to host this thing and I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind picking up some extras on their next shopping trip. I got the Pitney Bowes gig though, finally after like 4 interviews and 3 weeks of messing around lol. So although I may not get paid until the 3rd week of July I can at least breathe a little easier. Could everyone who is able to make it please post now so I can get an accurate idea of how many people I can expect? I'll be supplying all the meat and cake but if somebody could bring a potato salad or something? That would be great. I don't have the fridge space to hold anything like that right now. Thanks.
