Clearly my subtle invoking of Romans Go Home was too subtle for some.

i wonder if Once Star Wars ongoing is done leading up to TESB they will continue it with issues taking place right after TESB leading up to ROTJ. like to see what the Canon version of events was like between ESB and ROTJ.

I hope the star wars Marvel series aren't supposed to be telling the complete story of the core characters between ANH and ESB. I would like some room for another Luke novel or maybe a Vader novel between ANH and ESB

Are they new stories or simple re-tellings of the films?

They are original stories, and there is also one about Han.

Thank goodness there are no plans for the Marvel and SW universes to cross over.

1602 style where something something Marvel heroes born in the SW universe could kinda work...

    I heard
Avengers 2 has a cut scene during the credits where the Collector's fixing his museum and you can distinctly see Kylo Ren's crossbar hilt behind one of the cases.

^ Ha ha. Since I am not bothering with Avengers 2 (and possibly not any Marvel films until Doctor Strange now) that means zilch to me. :D

You read that last line right? There are currently no plans for now to do a cross over between Marvel and Star Wars. Give it a couple of years after Avengers 2, Avengers 3/4, Captain America 3, The Force Awakens along with Episode 8 get over a billion dollars and someone will come up with something. This is marvel and they are owned by Disney, and anyway.......I do not have to go far, but remember when GL said no more star wars movies? Well, look at us now with not one coming out, but 6, along with new re-telling's of the OT movies in book form. Who saw that coming?

Sure, I read that last line. Marvel being Marvel will do whatever they want especially if it means $. They're destroying their universes now simply for that. I am not naive, but this is one thing I hope they keep separate. What I want and what Marvel do are always the opposite anyway. :D

If they decide to intermingle, well that will probably be the day I truly walk away from Marvel. I've come pretty close the last year and with Jonathan Hickman leaving, it all depends on if a few characters I still enjoy are recognizable. If not, big whup. The nice thing about Star Wars is that you can enjoy what you like and leave the rest. My fan woman tentacles embrace many different things. There's always something else and for the prices Marvel are charging these days, it's great that there will be a variety of Star Wars media to choose from.

As cynical as I am, even I don't expect a crossover that's in either series' canon. But a standalone Infinities event? With Thanos or something from the cosmic side as the bridge? I wouldn't mind.

Guardians of the Galaxy is basically a Star Wars movie already. Tell me with a straight face you don't want to see them in a GFFA adventure.

It is, especially since like Rebels it feels a lot like a SW RPG Session

I don't actually since they fit way better into their own setting. :)

Thing A being similar in premise or tone to Thing B doesn't mean the two could be improved by crossing over. In anything, it's more interesting to cross over things that aren't basically the same to begin with. Like, I dunno...
