I certainly understand. I have the Ultimate Collectors Slave I and fully expect it to appreciate in value significantly once LEGO discontinues it, but I'll never sell.

 

So Joruus C'Baoth is back from legends too?

 

It's by far my favorite Star Wars comic, and I'm a huge TCW fan. Can't see myself ever parting with it.

 

Heh, I'm certain that's not C'Baoth (and I know you weren't serious when you said that), but I totally see why one would be reminded of him

 

According to Jedi News, three Star Wars Marvel titles have been recognized as as some of the best graphic novels in the past year: Darth Vader volumes 1&2, Kanan volume 1 and Lando.

That's a very nice bit of Noto work.

 

There has been a lot of discussion that Marvel are changing their digital comic policy so that instead of getting the actual issue digitally, you now get the first issue of some random trade paperback that is being release. Is this the case in Darth Maul 1, or do you get both the comic and the random first issue?

 

Marvel is crossing over SW comic and the Doctor Aphra
seems like it has Luke reluctantly team up with Aphra as they investigate a mysterious castle on the edge of space known as the Screaming Citadel.

The Screaming Citadel one-shot, Star Wars 31 and 32, and Doctor Aphra 7 and 8.

 

The Screaming Citadel, sounds like a good place for some space archeology.

I haven't been keeping up with the main SW title but I suppose I'll have to pick up these ones.

 

Gillen described it as a gothic-horror adventure story. Plus, more moments between Aphra and Sana which is always welcome.

 

I'm excited! I love crossovers and fun stories, and this seems right up my alley!

Good to see Checchetto back, even for one issue. He's one of my favourite SW Marvel artists.

 

Hmm, could be some interesting OHC combinations in the future then:

• Star Wars OHC3: The Yoda arc + Anakin & ObiWan + Darth Maul
• Star Wars: Aphra Vol 1 + Screaming Citadel

 

Is it really so hard to call it Doctor Aphra in: Luke Skywalker and the Screaming Citadel?

 

I think the next HC book will include the Yoda arc and the entire Screaming Citadel arc, like Vader Vol.2 included the entirety of Vader Down.

 

There, that's the title for the OHC easy!

Could well happen, especially as Vader OHC2 collected 3 trades and not just 2.

Although that then leaves Aphra Vol 1 trade un-OHC'd, which is why I thought there'd be a split.

(Also more £/$ for Marvel with 2 OHCs instead of 1.)
