Alright folks, my wishful thinking has managed to partially crack Heather's tweet, but into three different versions. Only one of them is correct, but which one? Frankly, it doesn't matter as long as it's one of these three :D

You know, when I read Heathers tweet, I immediately thought that you would say "It's Ostrander and Duursema".

Yup, that's me :p I hope that Heather and Jordan got sick of reading my posts here requesting Ostrander & Duursema, and that they'll finally shut me up by giving them a comic.

Well, you might be surprised generally in that respect VN. The market for the deluxe hardbacks is a niche one and people will pay, to a point, for a quality product - it's why both DC and Marvel get away with slapping RRP $100 and $125 prices on their Absolute and Omnibus ranges. Except now, DC are doing monster 1500-page volumes for RRP $150.

Even with online discounts, price over here, at best is around £50 for a RRP $100 item, around £55 for RRP $125 - which is not cheap, with the majority prices being around the £60 and £70 mark, for RRP $150, it's £80.

So yeah, I don't think Marvel's Adamantium editions worked that well because they probably did push an already very willing market much further than people would go. Everyone has a max figure in their head that they pay per item and on the big, deluxe hardbacks it's past that in most cases.
