Mass Effect 1,2 & 3 -- Action (RPGs?) made by BioWare (ME3 Spoilers Hidden!)

I know Obsidian made it, I was just using KOTOR 2 as a general example to show that rushing a game is a bad idea.

 

Did you hear that the game's been given an M-17 rating in the U.S?

Jade Empire was an M-rated game, too. I'm not surprised at the rating and I'm ok with it.

And I'm glad it's been pushed back to November...more time for me to save up...

This game looks awesome. I can't wait until it comes out- and if the rating means that there's a strong romance element that can only be a good thing. I felt we got a bit short-changed with KOTOR II in that department.

 

Haha, I finally saw the videos on Xbox Live. I'm so excited! I can't wait to see the character customization...

Yes, romance is good. Because it's more character development...

 

I call Mass Effect the "spiritual successor" to KOTOR II.

Fine, but it if it turns out to be as good as it should be, Mass Effect will go a long way to fill KOTOR III void.

 

Why? Mass Effect has nothing to do with Star Wars. For me, anyway, the void will still be there.

Star Wars had very little to do with KOTOR's quality. It could have been about anything and it would have been as good.

 

I loved KOTOR II.

 

I thought KOTOR2 was a great game also. Despite a handful of bugs and a few unfinished bits it plays alot better than KOTOR. I have played KOTOR2 twice as much as I have played KOTOR.

MassEffect as the spiritual successor? I sort of agree in that the classes are very similar to KOTOR classes; there is a gadget master, a soldier, and someone who can manipulate "dark energy".

If anything though, the longer the delay in KOTOR3 the better the technolgy that will be available to create the game; game indisurty workers have to update their training every couple of years or else fall behind.

 

I sort of think all this talk of KOTORII is...off topic...

 

I never played KOTORII, but I played the first one...



EDIT: Er, just to keep this post on topic: Yay, Mass Effect.

 

Mass Effect is going to be very awesome.

 

It is gonna be massively cool and very effective in bringing bioware into greatness.

Director's Cut of the E3 Trailer. About twice as long as the original trailer shown at E3 with a ton more never-before-seen things. November can't come soon enough! I'm looking forward to this game more than any movie or book this year.

 

I don't like the new music, I preferred the earlier trailer synthesized music. It just seemed to fit better.
