I wouldn’t be too surprised if it turned out to be both.

I hope I'm wrong but I expect probably some Old Ben/Qui-Gon conversation in the desert in the prologue and epilogue to bookend some adventure.

I'm excited to read about Qui-Gon Jinn playing his violin in a duet with Obiwan during free time on a Republic vessel.

Any Claudia Gray Star Wars book is a must read. This should be great.

Yay, another Claudia Gray book is always good news! I'm glad to see she's getting steady Star Wars work, her books have been some of the best of the nu-EU. I'm looking forward to seeing how she handles Qui-gon and Obi-wan too. More Qui-gon is usually a good thing too.

I was kind of serious. I was hoping she'd get a Lost Stars sequel.

    Unexpected, but very cool!

Between this, the Padme novel, and "Age of Republic," we're finally getting some more prequel-era stories in the new canon! (Plus the new season of Clone Wars, of course!)

That would be AWESOME but considering how starved we are for post 2013 Prequel Era material...I'll take this....Granted we are also starved post ROTJ material as well.....I mean Resistance and the Favrue show so.......Eeeeeh.

We’ll get one at some point. The brilliance of Lost Stars is Claudia Gray’s knack for weaving a new story around familiar events. So my guess is they’d want to wait until the post-ROTJ timeline fills out somewhat. Want to give her major plot points build around.

Claudia Grey is a great writer, and I'm so beyond happy they're going to do a whole novel about Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan! Absolutely stoked

Also really glad to see this. Star Wars often references how long the Jedi have been around, but until now we hadn’t seen a lot of canon content outside of the movie timeline bookends. It’s a baby step, but I love it. Some good characters from the past (that are canon due to brief mentions and such) that I’d like to see some stories for.

Yep, this is proper exciting - long wait though!

I'd be interested in this book and how it will tie in to the overall mythos at the time - rise of the trade federation etc. The suggestion of the force ghost epilogue and prologue is a great idea and I hope it is included.

This is amazing, I'll read anything that includes my man, Obi Wan and I LOVED the Jedi Apprentice books.

Maybe this book will delve into that "extended mission on Mandalore" mentioned in TCW?

This just gave me an idea for what the book may be about. From the books I've read, Claudia Gray seems to enjoy having romance be a big part of the novel. This would be a perfect opportunity to show Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon's time on Mandalore with Duchess Satine! I'll remind everyone of this quote from TCW:

That would be really awesome to see, I think she would do a great job writing the Obi-Wan / Satine relationship.

This is precisely the sort of novel I was looking for. It's not Dooku, but I'm fairly satisfied.
