JCC Matlock (starring Andy Griffith)

Anybody watch this show? I saw bits and pieces when it was still airing reruns on regular TV. What I remember most vividly is one episode where a man breaks into Matlock's home and tries to strangle him, then it was revealed that the same man had tried to kill Matlock two years before. Can't remember the guy's name or the episode title, though

 

I used to watch it a lot when I was a kid. It was a lot of fun.

Mason was good, but I liked Matlock's folksy charm and wit more.

I only entered this thread to see if someone had posted the Simpsons thing. Congrats to me for predicting it.

 

This and the Andy Griffith Show were two of my favorite TV shows growing up.

 

My parents liked Andy Griffith. I couldn't stand the show - too 'folksy' and I hated Don Knotts. Haven't seen Matlock unless it was in passing while channel surfing.

 

I entered to see if someone had posted the Simpsons thing, and to see if someone else had posted about it being posted.
