...seeing as it's out on November 6, is there any interest in us having an informal meet at a premiere?

(Thought I might propose the idea early and maybe tee up places, times...)

Oh.....that would be so coool!!! But I've got my year 12 exams smack bang in the middle of it... :_| MY first meet...ruined because of school! (year 12= end of life) It's a real kick-arse idea, Saintheart, so I hope you guys have fun! :) Won't be able to see you there though. :(

It's been a long time coming between meets, but there's plenty happening over the next few months movie wise, what with Return of the King on boxing day as well as Revolutions.

I think I'll be able to make it. My Uni exams don't start until the week after, so that shouldn't be a problem. If you need a hand in organising, let me know.

Anyway speaking of the Matrix, Reloaded is out on DVD this tuesday.

That'd be cool. Think we need to pick a nice, kinda central spot for most folks to get to...the Ep 2 meet was before my time here, but was that held at Innaloo? Could be a plan again...

The episode 2 meet was kinda different since we booked a whoe cinema for it. That was more of an Outer Rim meet than a fanforce meet, though it was mostly the same people back then (though Outer Rim no longer functions).

    Sounds like a great plan.

*(though the outer rim no longer functions)*

I didn't think it really functioned in it's time did it ?

...Okay, so I guess the plan's simply to find a sort of central cinema to folks round here and tee up some times, rides etc...

How do folks feel about the Innaloo Hoyts?

Sounds good to us, if we can get transport... But it's a Greater Union at Innaloo, not a Hoyts... :D

I didn't think there was much difference between the two these days :D

    PS Transport won't be a problem ;)

Inaloo is great for me, depending on when it's out I may even be able to provide lifts to a couple of people.

You could fill the cinema if you saw it in the gold lounge. ;) I think there's about 12 chairs in the whole cinema. Bloody expensive and probably not worth it, but a fine way to see a film.

*sigh* We can always dream... :D

So I take it there's a sorta general consensus for Greater Union Innaloo? Please object violently now. :D

...I'll go look up some session times etc and get back to you guys...

That'll do, as long as I can get there without any hassles.

$27.50 - Food and drink not included.
I went there last week. Like I said, bloody expensive, especially when you add the cost of a plate of nachos or wedges. Anyway, back on topic. ;)

Right, here's the session times at Innaloo Megaplex that I've got from the website:

    Thursday November 6: 12.01 a.m. (ie the midnight premiere); 10:30 a.m.; 1:15 p.m.; 4:00 p.m; 6:40 p.m.; 9:20 p.m

Friday November 7: Ditto as for November 6 except for no midnight show.

    Saturday November 8: Ditto.

    Sunday November 9: Ditto.

Speaking personally, I can either do the midnight screening on Wednesday (not sleeping much ATM anyway) or I'd prefer a 6:40 or 9:20 screening on any of these days, for the simple reason I have to have a job to support my net habit. :D

Anyone got any thoughts what session we should all head for?

I can't make the midnight session, since it's the last week of Uni and I have a test on the thursday (bugger!), so the weekend would be best that week.

As for midnight sessions, we should organise for the Lord of the Rings marathon coming up too. All three movies will be shown back to back, with the first two being the extended editions.

I'd definately be up for the midnight screening... It'd be better this time because we're not driving for hours the next day... :D

Midnight screenings are always good. I could only make it if it's on a weekend though. If it's on a Saturday night, I could possibly come to Perth for the weekend. Been a while since I've caught up with you guys.

Who saw the preview on tv a few minutes ago (Today Tonight I think)? I won't spoil anything but it looked pretty promising, especially the last bit they showed. :)
