I'd really like to get Traitor signed. I'm sure I'll try for RotS also, but Traitor is my first priority.
That book just rules on so many levels.

Most likely... To do the traditional LE Novelization signing... But this would take only an hour or two... Whereas at C3, it would be more like 3

 

Much longer then 3 hours, standing in line, blah.

I can't remember how long I stood in line for R.A. Salvatore's sig and they wanted to cut the line off because it was so long that he couldn't sign them all before he had his panel. Couldn't get into the panel because I was standing in line for his sig, 6 of 1, 1/2 dozen of the other?

 

I hope it's 11:30pm, i can make that.

 

yeah, not sure if I have off that weekend. But if it is 11:30pm on Sat... I can be there also.

As far as I know, Traitor only came out in paperback.

Since he's the only guy I want an autograph from, I would really like to see him here so I dont have to try to fit it in at C3.
I'm hoping Saturdays signing is in the AM. If not, I'll head north on Friday.

 

The Science Fiction Book Club offered a Hard Cover version of Traitor a while ago, but alas, it is no more. Here is one on Ebay if someone wants to pay big time! CLICK!

I think I'll head up on that Friday as well, Saturday is my brothers bachelor party(unless it is actually 11:30 am.

The signing on Saturday is at 11:30 AM. No late night signings apparently.

 

I work about 5 min away from the Boulder store, I can have him sign whatever the limit is if a few people want me to go and do that.

anybody have any idea how early you'd have to show up for this? I'd rather not wait in line real long...

 

I would say probably 2 hours early at the longest, but I bet if you showed up later than that it wouldn't be that much longer of a line. It's kinda hard to tell how many people will show up. I am going to the one Saturday, so I will probably go very early and wait until a small line starts to form then join in.

 

I wish I could go today... Too much to do, plus I need to get a new driver's license

 

So did anyone want me to pick up a signed book for them?

I don't really even care about having it, but it's so darned convenient to have him down the street, i'm going to check it out before Happy Hour.

 

Can I pay you back at the con? If you could that would be SOOOOO awesome Also, hold the book ransom until after the premiere... I'm not sure I have enough willpower to NOT read it before hand if it was actually in my possession

Has anyone heard if there are any restrictions placed on whether you must purchase the book in store or if you could bring in outside copies? I spoke with the service manager just a few minutes ago of the King Soopers in which Matt would be singing at and asked her if they required individuals to buy a copy of the book in store or if we could bring in outside copies. She said that they did not have any restrictions concerning this in place at that particular store, and that the best recommendation she had was to just bring a copy and that they would try the best they could to have it signed.

There were no restrictions, there were no lines. I was in and out in 10 minutes.

I got three books:

one signed to me

one signed to ZOO

one with just his signature, who wants it, I really don't want to eat it.
