Matt Stover is planning a book signing tour for the Episode III novel.

This is posted in the TFN spoiler board, so we need as many people to post for Cleveland as possible...Detroit and Pittsburgh are on the list already (otherwise it's a road trip)

Ohio got shut out all together...as did Detroit Looks like we're going to have to make a trip to the "da Burgh"if we want to meet this guy.

 

I'll just catch the dude at CIII. The lines for the authors weren't that bad, and Del Rey handed out free goodies. I got a copy of the Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide just by asking if they were giving them away. "No, but just take it, anyway," the Del Rey lady said. I was like, "Okay, thanks."

 

Or you all could come visit me!

 

How many people can you fit on your floor?

 

I could probably fit 4-6 people on my floor, depending on how cozy you'd all want to be with each other. In the unlikely event that more people would visit me than could fit in my room, I have friends who'd be willing to accomodate more.

So it turns out that the Episode III novelization shindig is scheduled to come to Pittsburgh for a "Talk & Signing" on Sunday, April 3rd @ 2:00pm at the Barnes and Nobles in the Waterworks shopping center.

Since that might be the closest destination for you guys on the tour, if you folks were interested, we'd be more than happy to have you guys join us to welcome him to our corner of the U.S.

Unfortunately, they just announced this today, so there hasn't been time to prep anything prior to now.

Anyway, if you guys could let us know who all (if anyone) is interested in swinging down here to Da Burgh by Wednesday of next week, that'd be faboo. Then we can solidify a plan of attack and be ready to roll in time for the show. (When some of our friendly folks are there in Cleveland this weekend for the bowling thing, I figured you guys could discuss then, too.)

That's a great time...we'll have to discuss the possibility of a Pittsburgh road trip at the meeting (this weekend)

 

Hmmm. This is possibly the day I come back from spring break. But I might be able to arrange coming back a bit earlier. The only problem, then, is getting a ride off campus, because half the people won't be back yet.

On the other hand, there's on in the Detroit area I might be able to drag some of my friends to.

Things aren't working out so I'll be in the area in time for the signing. So I'm going to have to shoot for the Detroit one.
