Maul Is Introduced in OT not PT...What Happens?

him and vader would fight, but qui gon would of lived and trained anakin so how knoews if anakin would still become vader. so if anakin was good he wouldnt of chopped of windu's arm, palpatine dies and maul never gets trained. so he would be introduced as a bartender in the mos eisley cantina.

If Maul was introduced during the Original Trilogy, I think there would have been no Star Wars movies after that.

Seriously. The only reason the originals are so good is because we get to see Vader's story as well as Luke. If Maul had been in there, it would have taken the focus off Vader, and ruined the saga.

Unless of course instead of Vader we just got a circus performer with face paint, who had all of Vader's characteristics.

 

How could Maul possibly be in the OT? There can only be two Sith, and those positions are filled.

 

If Lucas decided to throw out the rule of two...

I imagine Darth Maul would have been killed by Luke sometime during the OT. Luke is the hero after all. So either way the Maul fanboys would see their favorite character killed.

 

He could have been introduced in ROTJ. Instead of the Sarlac Pit, it could have been a dug-out hole in the sand with Maul inside, who would kill everyone who fell into it with his double ended lightsaber.

I think that would have been plausable. Maybe for the 3-d remakes?
