i dont think so, i like where it ended. it ended where it needed to end. it should not be continued, a continuation would just be a bad shodow of its base game.

Aren't they're like expansions you can download that allow you to play multiplayer?

They are working on a Max Payne 2.

No idea if it will pick up where the first ended, or if it's a prequel though.

I just hope it's a bit longer than its predecessor. Great game, just a bit on the short side.

Good game, but I wish they left the murder of a baby out. I just couldnt bring myself to do the levels where you had to walk through that sick fun house thing while the baby cries...

Uh, yeah. That was fairly disturbing, not to mention that they should'e learned jumping puzzles in shooters (especially those in the third person) are not fun about 10 years ago.

So next time around, I'm hoping for no lame jumping puzzles or disturbing babies crying.

    that level aint that bad!

There is a realli awsome Matrix mod for the game, but i doubt any add-ons will be made.

The graphics on that game.... lovely.

Jumping puzzles in first person are even worse. I mean how do you judge? This is the reason I'm glad I only rented it and Turok. (well with Turok the flying would have been better if it wasn't arcade. To have a free space shooter and an arcade flyer? What were they thinking?)

The trail of blood/baby cries was indeed very disturbing, but it did not disturb me... Errrr... Well, it was disturbing, but it contributed to the overall story and characterization, so I don't think it was out of place... The first trail (without jumps) was ok, but I agree that the second one was quite not funny...

Anyway, the first game more or less have an open ending : as I understood it, Max won't go in jail, but will have to serve as a 'special agent' in exchange for that freedom.

I really liked the gameplay, and I often feel like playing it, which rarely happens with other shooters...

How about a mobster game based upon the Max Payne game engine. That would be sweet.
