Is that guys face part Rodian?

Holy smokes - I had no idea he was in it!!! Wow, so there is a movie and/or TV show where Dominic West doesn't get naked or commit adultery!!!

 

It does appear that he has a Rodian eye.

 

Awesome, I'm looking forward to getting that backstory.

Yup! He got tired of Baltimore and moved to Naboo.

 

Guy like that would of secretly been killed by Palpatine the minute he started to backdoor his superiors.

As for MVS/Boba Fett... why? Because the original was associated with the prequels? Why would the MVS version even go by the name Boba Fett? Was Boba so renowned by the time he's killed that the character MVS plays thinks "I'll just add to the legend"?

The more I read about Star Wars going forward the less enthusiastic I am. Oh well... at least Rebels hasn't disappointed.

 

I can think of some reasons why the MVS character would take over the Boba Fett identity, but none that I'm enthusiastic about. The main ones being 1)To piss off Boba in the afterlife by being a better bounty hunter then Boba is or because he was a friend of Jango and thought Boba was a smart-ass punk who was being a disgrace to his father's legacy.

 

Apparently McNulty was in good with Plagueis, so that kept him in the clear for a while. Anyway, he showed back up in Baltimore a few years later dressed in his Naboo palace guard outfit (below) and got his ass kicked by a bunch of kids.

If we don't see or hear his character in the next trailer (or two), I'll officially not believe he's in the movie.

 

I completely forgot about Max Von Sydow!

I think he his the only actor that didn't showed up on the teaser trailers. Right?

 

Unless that's him standing under the vertex of the New Order symbol.

 

I thought that but it just doesn't go with all the rumours of him being a junk collector/trader who keeps watch over Rey. It would be a surprise if after Finn and Rey leave Jakku with Han and Chewie we see MVS then show up as the real leader of the First Order and Ren's true master.

The rumors of MVS being a junk collector and protector of Rey seem to have been contradicted by MSW rumors, which have a great track record so far.

MSW claims that Max Von Sydow plays a village "Vicar," who receives a lightsaber at the start of the film. Imperials show up, with Kylo Ren, and torch his village. Kylo confronts the Vicar, and seems to kill him. And that's that! Here's the scene in a chronology (last two posts):

no no no and no. he's the vicar and he has a bit part.

 

I part of me thinks that this Vicar is a former Jedi.

 

The center lower section of The First Order flag looks like the Gmail icon.

How many rumoured characters has MVS actually been linked to?

*Junk Dealer/Collector who looks out for Rey
*Voice of a mo-cap character, possibly Plagieus
*The village Vicar
*A character who was present in the OT or PT

Plus we had that his character definitely has no connection with the Force.

 

He was definitely alive during the Clone Wars/PT, heck, Han Solo was around 10 during ROTS and MVS character is much older.

 

I wonder where this concept art fit most.

 

Lords of the Sith is a book about Vader and the Emperor being stranded on some planet. I wonder if that would be a good place to introduce us to the Vicar as he's commanding a Star Destroyer. Maybe he ultimately becomes the Imperial who rescues them or something. This would really rub it in later when he is abandoned on Jakku.
