May 2014 meeting - 5/18 2 PM, Village Inn

In March we decided to have our May meeting on Sunday, May 18 at 2 PM at our usual Village Inn location.
Is this still the group's desire?

 

It has to be, we have a little RMFFer's bday party on Sat.

 

Don't think I'll be able to make it since I usually work Sundays from 11-6. But I'll see if I can get it off.

We'll be seeing the musical, "Once." First I missed May the 4th, now gravy??

 

Meeting scheduled for Sunday! Alas, FanForced and I will be enjoying "Once" but y'all have fun. Since I've got the prize box, no non-raffle this month unless somebody wants to come pick it up. Maybe I can get it to Nerfherders on Saturday...

 

My daughters graduation is on the 18th so I won't be able to make it

 

Sorry I work, so I won't be at this one.

 

I'm not sure I am going to make it either.

 

I'll be there, looks like with no raffle stuff.

 

We are planning on attending.

May 2014 meeting notes:


Attendance (approx. 12): Zeraduel, William, Sarnia, Robert, Tia_Amidala, Bravo, Brent, QueenHighMistress, Sith_Chick, breadnappa, Obi_wannabe

May the 4th + Outlaws Game: Made almost 12k dollars from auctioning at Outlaws game.

Denver Comic Con:
-June 13-15. Will not have a meeting. RMFF will try to get on stage with our RMFF shirts on and take a picture. Planned time is 5:30 on Saturday at table for group picture!
-Sign ups on Google Doc on boards, 2 hour shifts.

Make a wish:
-There is a letterhead available in order to ask for donations. Donations are tax deductible. Sith_Chick (Kim) has the template. Facebook will have previews for the auction soon.

July BBQ and meeting:

T-shirts: Sith_Chick (Kim) has t-shirts and will bring them to the meetings and Denver Comic Con

Starfest:
-Celebration 7 at same time of Starfest in 2015. May not have a table next year. Ticket costs and table location were issues at the past Starfest.

 

No June meeting and no White Bantha gift exchange in July? Jeez, party poopers...

Thanks for posting the notes Zeraduel. I was not able to really sleep on my overnight flight home, so a hefty nap lasted up til meeting time. I'm loving the idea of a group photo at DCC, hope to see everyone there (and at the RMFF table).

 

Thanks for the notes. I will post a treasury report in the Treasury thread.

 

Also, I am a little confused on where the signup sheet for DCC booth time is. Has it been posted yet?
