incidentally.. you know that section of seats that jazz posted on top of this page? it's all filled up- every single seat, i believe. My section- the middle section- is pretty full, too. Looks like we're in for a pretty crowded screening! yeah!


also... do you know if anyone else other than you guys is going to be dressing up on that day? some folks from other forums, perhaps? would be nice if not just the 20 of you were dressing up...

 

There certainly may be a few more costumers out there who will go on their own. But a more likely scenario is a few Fx lightsabers swinging around by older fanboys who aren't into costumes.

 

I highly doubt so. Serious SW Costumes & Props makers seems to mostly hang out here or know of the presence of this Forum.

ok so i understand from DE there's gonna be another group purchase for Lido 1.

I've check the website last night. the row in front of the initial 20 still got about 5 seats left. Anyone going to co-ordinate this purchase?

If I can drag my rear out of the house tomolo to get my Train/Bus Tickets, stuffs to add on to my Gowns, White PCK Boots, I should be able to drop by Lido to do the purchase. So far, 2 more tickets is needed (Hobbes & my brother's friend) while 2 might be.

Don't want to use my Debit Card too much online as I need the money to pay for a couple of thing.

Our schedule for the day:

2:30pm: Everyone be at Dhoby Ghaut MRT. Get our costumes ready and also settle outstanding ticket/postcard issues

3:30pm: Begin Costume Parade.

Our route roughly goes like this - PS - Istana - Orchard Plaza - Centrepoint - Cross the Road at Orchard Emerald - Cineleisure - Mandarin Hotel - Ngee Ann City - Wheelock Place and lastly Lido.

4:00 to 4:30pm: Cineleisure Stopover

4:45 to 5:15pm: Break and Photo-Shoot at Ngee Ann City

5:30: Arrive at Lido

6:00pm: ROTS Screening

8:30pm Onwards: Free & Easy; Dinner/Supper

Suggestions for the alteration of the schedule are welcome.

since i wont be attending the show, i'll still come down for the parade. i'm still wondering if should wear my akira kurosawa-inspired jedi garb. maybe if enuf ppl give me positive response, i'd don it. and this time. CAN I BORROW SOMEONE'S CLOAK PLS. =(

Faiz - Oh, do come in costume! I don't know if I can help with the cloak, but I'm sure one of the big-time costumers has one to spare? Anyone?

 

Does anyone have a pair of black gloves they'd be willing to let me wear on Saturday?

Also it would be cool if I could do a bit of duelling (though it has to be ala A New Hope due to my inexperience, hehe) - would anyone be willing to spare a red lightsaber? (One of Vader's would be cool but any red one will do.) I don't need it for the whole time, of course - just for the duel. =)

Busy after work tonight, and already promised to watch TPM with my friend tomorrow morning, then gotta go and return some DVDs (including TPM) to the Esplanade library before meeting you guys at Dhoby Ghaut...

I'll try to make one tonight if I have time... I already got some materials for the saber, at the same time I got materials for my costume, but I never got around to making a saber...
