I'd love to, but for some reason the idea of whingeing, whining kids walking along with me doesn't really turn me on.....and no, I'm not going to carry them on my back!!

we should start getting organised for the City Bay again this year soon, too...

    :)

Oh i just checked out the site, we will have a team so i volunteer to be team coordinator so we all get to start at the same time ok...

I'm thinking I might like to do it, it's only 4 or 8 km - I'm sure the kids would endure, and who knows, they might actually enjoy it!!!

Besides, according to my Mum, going to the football is much more important than Mothers Day - along with birthdays and anything else happening during footy season, so I'll be available to lend support on the day.

I'm saying no to costumes, not that close to me going away and if it's wet or cold or even really, they might get damaged. But Cassie and I will be there all being well! :D

it would be good if it kept getting posted here though....as there are two of us interested in doing the walk but we won't be at bowling on Saturday night - unless you don't want us to come??

I could wear my Jedi, I suppose......

that way if it rains, I could put the hood on. :)

    and it washes well, too.

Yeah, I was gonna drag out the costumes, but I simply cannot afford that.....they'd get more entrants if the cost was lower and still make the money......it's kinda sad. :(

Not a problem, i will give them a call to see if making a team registration is cheaper and all.

Just go out and buy a Hallmark mothers day card cause they give proceeds to breast cancer research...

    Newsagents have them !!!!
