Cheers Guys, I'll try my best but believe it or not getting the loft done indirectly affects me going to C4.

Loft converted means Nige can move in (bringing his crap)
Nige in at my place means My outgoings are Halved,
Money saved put aside for C4 / Dragon con

So as you can see I have to get it done, the quicker I can save the better.

 

Yeah....its all about prioritising V...and though we will miss seing you at this meet we know we'll see you again soon!

Im just gona say now that I might be upto half an hour late but I doubt I will.....I'm having to take the missus shopping saturday afternoon! but I'll make sure I'm there as close to 5 as I can possibly be!

 

Hmmm.. This is becoming a little awkward. Firstly, I can get to New Street alright but from there I don't have a clue.. and the second problem is that even if I get to Star City from the station via a bus or whatever, will there be one running back to the station after the movie? I'm assuimg it's not walkable but who knows? Anyone been there on the train before (I'd be going via Leicester)

Hmmm, you can actually see Star City out the window arriving at New Street from Leicester, I always notice it lol. Not sure how you get there from New Street mind you.

 

Oh neat-o. So is it walkable would you say? If I head that direction?

 

it's walkable from new street if you give yourself a couple of hours. you can get several buses from birmingham in the right direction, but i'm unaware if any go straight to star city.

give me a bell/text when you get into birmingham and i'll pick you up, just let me know roughly what time you'll be there. do you know how to get to forbidden planet in birmingham?

 

I've had a look round on the net, and yep, I think I can make it to Forbidden Planet. (This is my first Birmingham experience bear with me)

It'd be great if you could give me a lift Dave. Wherever is easiest for you to pick me up from and I'll try and get there

Grrrrr... bloody parents. I can now get a lift to Star City but no lift back.

I can go to the New Street with you Chris as there is a train from New Street that stops right by my house. But if anyone is going my way and wants to give me a lift...

Chris, Jon there's plenty of us with transport so getting you to where you need to be won't be a problem, trust me.

mission impossible 3 was a great film (made better by seeing the superman trailer beforehand ).

martin, apparently the cruisemeister did his own stunts in that film, so he actually did do that huge swing off the building in shanghai (and fair play to him too!!).

jon, sorry about the ribbing the others gave you, don't take it to heart

phill didn't leave mine till 5ish this morning, and we got a lot of stuff covered. we will be posting stuff up over the next couple of days, as and when we get the time. watch the boards (and particularly the secret base(tm))

exciting times ahead that is for sure...............

 

It really got to me, I don't think you will be seeing me at another meet. I am a person and I have feelings incase none of you noticed.

there is a lot of stuff to be put to you guys. one little teaser is that we will be re-branding (watch out for the thread on the secret base )

all i can say atm is that there is the very distinct possibility of another sit down "conference" type meet similar to the one that was jon's first meet. when we do these types of meets (which aren't that often ) we do get a lot of stuff covered

 

Yes, you will see us get a lot done at the conference meets. Really, they only happen now when it's [not so much] a matter of urgency, but when things need to be discussed and sorted out, just so things get set in stone, and the ball moves on subjects that need to get moving. The last one we had of that type (February), we got a **** load of stuff done, and things have been as smooth as ice ever since. It's a good oppurtunity to bring ideas to the table, and have an open forum - usually done over a meal and a drink or two. The last one was a real success.

5am, damn, Phill! I only got home at 2am this morning, myself. Can't wait to see what was discussed.

All in all, it was a good night.
