O.C, CA May meeting and Social Event!

Hey everyone!

Clear your calendars...
May 9th is our club meeting and social event.

First the meeting... The meeting is going to be very important. This is our last meeting before Relay for life. SO... we have a lot of ground to cover.

Please bring a Star Wars Toy or item that you would like to donate to the raffel at Relay. We will build the baskets at the Relay event as we did last year, but we would like to get things going sooner. The meeting will be held at Carl's Jr. at the Block in Orange at 3 PM.
Again... this is a highly important meeting!

Social Event. STAR TREK! We will see the film after the meeting, at 5 PM.

May Meeting Minutes


Relay for Life-June 20th

We are collecting Star Wars themed toys and other items to make up 3 Gift Baskets for our raffle. This year we want to do 3 "Themes": Lightside, Dark Side and a Dad's basket.

We will also have Minda doing "Yoda's Yummies" again. Make sure you support her and help her out.

Day before Relay: 5pm we will be putting up the set and setting up tents and EZ-ups in our campsite. Let's try to keep our campsite organized during the day of Relay.
Bring chairs, if you have extras, bring them for our guests.
We will have the Raffle after our Show, then strike the set.

Donations: Please start working on Friends and Family for donations for this worthy cause.
Sign up for the Team. The Choreo Team must sign up for the Relay Team.
The link to sign up for our Team is on the Message Board under Charitable/Costumed Events. It's "Stickied" so it stays at the top of that forum.

Day of Relay Conduct: This is an Important Event. Our behavior defines our club.

Saturday, May 16th-Set Building Day

Voice Actors for the show-sign up on the boards.

June 9th: Relay Launch Baseball game at 7:00pm. We need costumed and non-costumed people to go and help us promote Relay for Life.

May 29th: Star Wars Day at the Paul Baine Library in Rancho Cucamonga.
Call time is 6:00-6:30pm. Costumed people and wranglers needed. Come out and support out sister Fan Force from the Inland Empire.

Travels With Yoda: James is in charge of this. We should have Yoda very soon. We plan on taking photos with him at Disneyland (probably outside, between the 2 Parks) before sending him on to the San Diego Fan Force.

June 27th: Unofficial Star Wars Fan Day at Disneyland. This is our 5th year.
Shirts will available soon, proceeds go to the Red Cross.

July: Summer Picnic at Miles Square Park in Fountain Valley.

August: Officer Elections.

Subjects brought up to discuss at a later time-Voting on possible Meeting day changes, "Virtual" Meetings.

Lori Collected club dues of $6.
