Welcome to the May New Stories Index for the Beyond the Saga Board!

This Index records each new fan fiction story posted on the Beyond the Saga forum. At the end of the month all the stories are combined to make a master list with the Before the Saga and Saga boards. I'll check for your new stories on a daily basis, but you can also send me a Private Message with your information

Challenge responses will not be indexed as they are to be included on the Fan Fiction Master Challenge Index Thread located on the Resource board.

To make it easier for me when gathering the story data, please headline your fic with the following information in the first post. Not only does this thread Index your story, but provides you with free advertisement for your fan fiction.

Title: Worth Fighting For

Timeframe: LOTF-like AU - Canon is intact until Luke proposes to Mara in VotF. Mara says no and Luke and Mara go their separate ways. Shortly thereafter Luke reconnects with Callista and they get married. They have a son, Benji. Things develop more or less in line with canon. As the story begins, the galaxy is torn apart by war, Callista has just died, and Mara is running Karrde?s company.

The Galaxy has been embroiled in chaos since the invasion of the Yuuzhan Vong. Just weeks ago, the planet of Ithor, long famed for its beauty, was rendered uninhabitable by the treachery of the Vong. Now the 16 year old twin Jedi Knights, Jacen and Jaina Solo, have crashlanded on an island country on a backwater planet without hope for rescue.
Simultaneously another war stirs on this island country. In the country of England, the Dark Lord Voldemort has reappeared and begun a new reign of terror aimed at conquering the wizarding world and the expanding to the Muggle one. The only ones who can stop him are the 16 year old trio of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
Meanwhile, Han, Leia, and Anakin Solo, their kin Luke and Mara Skywalker, and friends desperately search for their lost loved ones, while trying to fight a galactic war against a genocidal enemy.
The consequences from these events will change Earth and the Galaxy forever. But will it be for good or ill?
Note: This story will be set just after the events of Dark Tide II: Ruin for Star Wars and just before Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for the Harry Potter series. This is to emphasize the beginning of both of their wars as well as to match up the protagonists? ages

Notes: This fic was inspired by things like the ?X-COPS? episode of The X-Files, the Monk episode ?Mr. Monk?s 100th Case?, The Office, and other sources who list their relationship with the fourth wall as ?It?s Complicated.? It?s in quasi-script format. When it says ?TALKING HEAD?, that?s a convention borrowed from The Office/Modern Family/etc., which refers to interview segments with characters speaking to the camera removed from the immediate time and place of the events.

Title: Bluebells of the Highlands

Summary: Naboo was a different world following the cessation of hostilities in 218 ABY. The old orders had been swept away and the economic and political devastation wrought by seventeen years of galactic warfare had taken its toll on a war weary populace eager for stability and economic prosperity. Naboo lay fragmented by warring city-states, each looking out for its own interests. Unity seemed a distant dream.
Notes: The foundational elements for the following story were crafted seven years ago before present events in the Star Wars universe now considered canon such as the Swarm War, the Sith-Imperial War, and the Legacy Era were created. ?Bluebells of the Highlands? is set on Naboo and elsewhere during an alternative time line that assumes the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances returns to prominence shortly after 137 ABY, stable and strong, and lasts until 201 ABY when civil war once again erupts between the core and rim worlds shattering galactic stability and prosperity. Out of the ashes of seventeen years of warfare, 201-218 ABY, arise the Republic and later the Roon Trade Organization to assume the mantle of galactic leadership.
