May the 4th be with you, Midnight meet up at Virgin Megastore - For free SW stuff

May the 4th be with you,

At midnight May the 4th, they will be selling the ROTS game at virgin megasore, oxford street.

The First 50 will get a SW gift bag.

The First 500 will get a black darkside wristband.

Those dressed as a chracter will get a lightsaber.

The queue starts at 9PM. I will however, be going earlier. FFUK members join me, it will be really fun. Plus, we can do it in shifts.

 

Pity they're not doing this at the one in Walsall; I'd get a friend of mine there to hold that stuff for me!

I'll be in a library around the corner so might pop down after it closes - but will be after 9 though :S

Anyone else thinking of coming down ?

 

As I said we will do it in shifts, I need to get some work done as well.

 

The shift system worked really well at CIII, there were 6 of us. The system allowed us to go the washroom, eat, sleep, work and most importantly, get into CIII first.

 

Looks like it will just be the two of us!

Vader commands all of you join the line up now, there is not much time for us to attack this line so post ASAP.

 

what happened ? was it a good turn out ? what was in the bag ?

It's more to do with the stuff I have to do tomorrow.

When I was younger (say 18 ) I could stay out late and get up the next day without problem - these days I need to get to bed if I am to be of any use the next day.

 

I guess you are old and wise now, and need to spend most of your time contemplating in a swamp/cave.

If i get any spare wristbands, i will send you one

Oh don't go offering tenners for it I was hopeing for someones generosity. I got no money to send unfortunatly as I have to pay for car repairs this month.

 

Hey people, just got back!

Pretty cool - had Vader and stormtroopers posing for pics, and there was a jedi duel to keep us entertained

I think there were probably less than 50 people - loads of goodie bags for all!

But not much in them SW: Republic game poster, 4 stickers, a Republic Commando badge.

Cool things were the T-shirt with an artistic Hoth battle scene thing on the back, and the wristband

I don't know what they're doing with the other 400 wristbands, but they'll probably still be some available tomorrow morning maybe....

 

By my mouth, it is official, the "Virgin May the 4th be with you" sucked, i queued for 5 hours 30 mins and got an awful bag of rubbish.

I have a lot more to say on this, i will post, when i am calm, you have not even heard the half of it yet.

 

So did anyone get any spare wristbands who wouldn't mind sending me one

 

i did not get any spare ones yesterday, they only gave them with the goodie bags, even though they had loads of spare bags, they would not give them out.

Last night was soooo bad, it reflected the poor quality of SW events in the UK.
