SWC May the Fourth

Coming off the high that was Celebration Anaheim, I am more into Star Wars day than I have ever been. Since I have an annual pass and am local to Anaheim (Monday also being my day off), I think I'm going to go ride Star Tours in the morning. Disney XD is also showing Rebels Season 1 all day starting with the movie so I'll probably spend the rest of day watching that to catch up with the series. And I'll just be on this board trying to soak up anything Star Wars.

Does anybody have any plans for May 4th? I imagine all the ideas one would expect: movie and/or tv show watching, video game playing, music listening, wearing Star Wars clothes. Anybody doing anything different? Are there any actual events or screenings taking place anywhere?

Is May the Fourth even a big deal in Starwars-dom? I imagine it will be over the next six years.

Good to see this back. I may watch SW for Sir with a friend if I can manage it. I have all the soundtracks and may pull them out for a listen.

Here in the UK Sky Movies Showcase (Sky channel 303) is running a marathon of all 6 films starting at 6AM on May 4 with TPM and ending with ANH at 3;30 AM May 6. I probably won't watch straight through but I will dip in.

 

I read that. The last time there was a Star Wars marathon on American cable was for a holiday marathon on Spike TV two Christmases ago. I was hoping for something like that but Rebels all day should do me fine, I need to catch up with that series anyway.
