Some won't care, others will find this depraved, but there will be those among us who find this news long overdue*.




*Such as myself... there's something rather delightful about McDonald's McMuffins.

 

Why do we have this thread but none for the PSL. Disgust.

 

PSL's -as delicious as they are- occur everywhere, every year at coffee shops/convenience stores.

About damn time! No Denny's around here, so McDonald's would be my only late-night breakfast fix.

 

Come on, dude.... you can't fry an egg and put it on some bread?

I hate McD's Breakfast. I don't drink coffee, so you have to pay extra for the OJ. Plus, everything is bland and gross.

 

While I'm not keen on McDonald's... well, anything besides their coffee, actually, I'm generally pro-all day breakfast, so good for them.

 

When I heard this news all I could think about is the scene from Big Daddy were Adam Sandler's character thought he woke up early enough for McDonald's breakfast.



I like the idea that I can have a hash brown or egg mcmuffin at two in the afternoon.

 

a thing to keep in mind is that mcdonalds is evil, disgusting, and not food.

 

The thing that I don't understand though, especially in LA where breakfast/brunch is usually served all day in most places... why would you choose to go to Mcdonalds!?!? The prices aren't cheap enough to justify it. I just don't get what the hype is with this.

 

When I think of burgers, I just wish we had a 5 Guys down here in Puerto Rico.

 

I love 5 Guys burgers. Much better than In and Out.

I like having McDonald's breakfast once a month. My favorite items from the menu are the sausage egg mcmuffin and hash brown.

 

I make a very good unbranded egg, cheese and ham sandwich on an English muffin, and I can make one any time. But what it's missing is the unmistakable rancid fry grease odor that permeates everything at McDonald's. You can't buy that anywhere else.

 

Certainly cheaper for a 2 McMuffin meal (+ drink, a little over $7 with tax) than some of the eateries that serve breakfast all day, with superior options (my favorite place to get breakfast is Brent's Deli here in the Valley, but good grief the prices have been going up over there for years now). Plus, for my purposes, the taste of those McMuffins is rather good... sure, it's a standard fast food breakfast sandwich, nothing that great, but pleasant nonetheless.

I remember people whining about McDonald's breakfast not being all day since I was a kid. Truly this is the greatest societal change of our generation, right next to Fuller House and useless smartphone peripherals you can wear on your wrist. Boy, I sure hope large corporations like McDonald's come up with more things for me to consume in a vain attempt to fill the void in my soul.

They don't want to fill the void in your soul; they want to test the limits of how many calories you can consume in a day. McDonald's is so pervasive that the only way for them to grow is to increase the global per capita average for calorie intake. They've targeted you for 7.5% eating growth in 2016. That's just one EggMcMuffin meal a week beyond what you're eating this year. You can do it! The shareholders are depending on you. You can easily fit that into a Shire style second breakfast at, say, 10:45 a.m. on Thursdays.

 

7.5% increase in caloric intake is well within his grasp.

 

There's an old Bavarian saying: "Die Weißwurst soll das 12 Uhr-Läuten nicht hören, aber der EggMcMuffin macht was er will."

or loosely translated, "The Weißwurst must never hear the midday clock strike 12, but the Egg McMuffin can do whatever it wants."
