hitting the post is going to be funny...

 

as it's getting really close now, does anyone know exactly what we'll be doing when ? Is there an itinerary for us to follow ? Who do we meet up with there ? & what time ? Where do we meet them ? What is expected of us ? We're the entertainment right ? What are we to do to entertain ? or do we just hang around the front gates ? How did we get involved in the first place ? Were we asked or did we approach them ? Was it through the 501st being asked by the McDermott McGuiness foundation ? Will we get allocated seats to view the game afterwards ? We have carpark tickets right ? Are we meeting @ McDonalds & then going into the car park as a group ?

I thought just naturally over time answers to these questions would've come out but they don't seem to have or I've just missed them...

or are we just going to wing it ?

Does anyone want to have a crack at them ..??

In lieu of QJV, who was approached by the McGuiness-McDermott foundation as revealed in the first post, being a bit vague on details, I'll give it a crack.

We're meeting at McDonalds around 9:30/10:00 in the morning. QJV has tickets to the game and parking for us which we'll get off him then. We then go to wherever the change facilities are and take from there.

From another post we are there as 'Pre Game Entertainment' and are 'Required from 11:30 - 12:30'. I imagine all this means is we'll simply wandering around as a group, mingling with the crowd, like we usually do. If there's a full scale reenactment of the Battle of Yavin planned I haven't heard about it.

Sorry i'v not been round, work has pretty much taken most of my life

Correct, we are Pre Game entertainment, well meet up at McDonalds where i will have a Map and all the tickets to get into the venue and parking.

once inside we will then migrate around, say hi to people, you know the normal thing. From there what will happen is basically do our thing for an hour or so, get changed then sit down and watch the old people play footy
