ok let's do this. we're about to kill all the time until season 8 avengers 4. we did a song of ice and fire marvel universe survival battle years ago but this one is going to be limited in scope to the tv show movies and it's going to work a little differently. first, the list i am about to post is the whole list. that is it's pretty much all the named characters who have appeared on screen. at first the list will be large and unwieldy but it can only get shorter. the second big twist is that this time there will be favorites and underdogs. that's because the number of points each character is going start with corresponds with the number of minutes they have been on screen. why? i just thought it would be a fun way to do it and it gives the more popular characters a little armor so they're not picked off immediately. maybe it's a terrible idea and will ruin the game. only time will tell!

alright, the rules:

aside from the no adding characters and the crazy point totals the rules will be the same as ever. each player can distribute two points with their turn. they can either add two points to a character (+2), add one point to two different characters (+1, +1), add one to one character and subtract one from another (+1, -1), subtract one from two characters (-1, -1), or subtract two from one character (-2). at least at the start we will go away from the tradition of people copy and pasting the whole list with each post, just because the list is long. announce your change and i will post list updates every page or 2. others are free to post updates as well. it's particularly helpful if i'm away for a while, just try to make sure it's accurate. players may change the list once every five turns, that is after you change the list four players must change the list before you can go again.
