Wash, DC MD Ren Faire

if it isn't too hot, I'll wear my wench outfit.

 

I think I actually have to pass on making a Ren Faire costume this year. I made a promise to myself to make 3 SW costumes for Halloween for me and a Vader costume for Brandon.

 

WEndy, Wendy, Wendy.... Yoda needs his OWN hat. Silly. And I didn't think we had to ask you to bring Yoda. He's a Jedi Master. He'll mind whammy you into bringing him.

Now, of course, I really want him to have a pirate outfit.

I'm all for rennfaire trips. Must look into that PA one. I've always wanted to go. Hope it doesn't conflict with my trip to Maine. But I'll be at the MD one more than once as I am... gasp.... a nerd.

 

Eugenia, just remember that you & Ken have a place to crash WHEN you go to the PA Ren Faire.

Actually the PA Ren Faire runs up to the week before Halloween so there should be plenty of time for everyone to go Ren Faire crazy.

Now the real question is to see if anyone wants to make the trip to Sterling Forest Ren Faire in NY? I MIGHT try my hardest to go to that one as well. I'll have to call that once I get closer to Ren Faire season taking off.


Yoda in a Pirate outfit!?! You know I could visit AC Moore or the Teddy Bear Workshop and see what they have in Pirate outfits....

Also is we can get a nice group to go to the PA Ren Faire at once, give me lots of notice and I'm going to see if I can pull off something nice for everyone.

 

Could we please get back to the subject at hand. I believe we were trying to figure out whether or not we're going to the Ren Fest, (and Busch Gardens) and what dates. I think when we start a new subject on these boards, we should stick to that ONE subject and not keep going off on these tangents about everything under God's green earth! I'm sorry to be such a jerk about this but when we stray off topic, these threads go on and on and quite frankly I'm bored.

My new show 'Herakles' opens on August 5th and we run until...

The thing is, people often mistake our prayer circles for a bunch of drunks at a con. Easy mistake to make. But watch closely at DragonCon. It's a religious experience for many of us.

 

Is that what was going on at Shorleave? I mean, I felt like I was baptized. Well, maybe it was just the guy who spilled beer on me.

 

That explains why i've seen Jesus at DragonCon many times...
