Mary MDFF Revival, Part Deux

Well, tonight was our humble Fan Force's second (new) official meeting. Ever so slowly, we are building a steady base. This evening, it was WANNABE-JEDI-KNIGHT, LordMalicous, and myself. We came up with a couple ideas for where we would like to go with our group. I just posted a topic about one of them. Here's what else we thought of:

• A get together at Otakon this August
• The revival of the fan-film project suggested last year

Let me or the others know, either through PM's or in this thread, if you're interested in either of these ideas and what you would like to contribute. I'm looking forward to everyone's participation. Let's really revive this sucker!

I've decided not to attend Otakon, sadly, but if I'm not working, I'd love to head up there and meet you guys for lunch somewhere around the convention center.

 

do you know when your next event/ meeting will be? I want to show up at some point this summer.

 

We have set our next meeting for Sunday, June 25th. I think it will be around 3pm but we need to confirm that.

 

3pm is the time I had in mind, but that can be changed to fit people's schedules.

Just so we all know... Superman Returns is set for June 30. i know the thought was to see it after the meeting, but looks like that won't happen. so we can still have the meeting as originally planned or we can push it forward another week. i'm down for whatever

Hey, you know you should try to work with Echo Base part of the Rebel Legion. I found out from their website that there is an event in October at the Crofton Library. They want costumed people there but if we could get a banner or something, it might be worth it.
