That, and I think our network folk messed with our firewall because I can't ever get a steady ping to any CStrike servers now. Friend of mine seems to think they changed the way they hand out bandwidth to machines on the network. Whatever the case, a lot of the time I can get a good ping, it just spikes to over 1000 or something every few seconds. UGH.

I've only been playing it since the first day it came out (beta 1). I've been #1 in the world on CLQ numerous times. If you'de like to play with me sometime to prove it, I will.......

I'm only one of a few hundred people that actually started playing when Beta 1 came out.....Including my clan (187), we are still together and still kickin ***!

i like my servers i play on, i've found good pings (always between 10-30), good guys (mostly fellow new yorkers from syracuse, rochester, nyu, etc) and a low homophobe population, which is all i can ever ask for in this game.

i'll check your server out but if the ping is double what i'm used to then i'm probably not going to play. in this case it's not about getting a ping that makes me play good, it's about me playing with the ping i've been used to all year. i'm guessing already that your server is going to give me a 60ish ping. if i played with a 60ish ping all this year i'd have no problem joining, or something higher for that matter. but i'm used to things as they are.

 

see, i am not stuck up like Krayt here I will play with 200 ping, just to play with people cause i am a social gamer, right jade? talk to her more in a game then on icq or on the boards

 

hey, if you got to have the game run against people on the internet like it would if you were playing against bots with almost no detectable lag at all, you'd be hard pressed to pull yourself away too. this connection won't last forever, ya know.

 

my ping is 40 - 200. I'm guessing you should have your 30 ping old man
